| Canucks Posted: 4/23/2007 9:20:59 PM | | What a win!! ..and Linden with the clincher!!! Onto round 2 baby!!! | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/23/2007 9:44:40 PM | Hope they dont play poorly like they did in games 2, 5, and 6
but excellent playing in the 3rd period to clinch the win.
but the amount of penalties.. WTF!
| Canucks Posted: 4/23/2007 9:46:51 PM | | Someone musta been handing out b*tchslaps a plenty in the first intermission. Hopefully they can carry some of that intensity over against their old boss's current team. | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/23/2007 10:50:56 PM | | Congrats to the Canucks - they are lucky to be moving on with such a weak PP and lack of scoring. Definately riding Luongo. Has anyone ever been shut out for three games and still win a series? Unreal. | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/23/2007 11:28:37 PM | great game
i'll take roasted duck next thanks !(if we can score that is lol)
| Canucks Posted: 4/23/2007 11:48:11 PM | | WAY TO GO CANUCKS. So much for jerkco. Bring on the ducks to get clipped and then the toothless sharks. Vancouver/Rangers final. Round two here we come. Better than 9 or 18 holes of golf. They will get better as play-offs progress. Good things improve with aging. They be disproving all those pundits, you find ways to win when you have to. | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/24/2007 2:29:01 AM | WOW, that game was so much fun to watch!!! to bad first period sucked but.....OH WELL! h haha we kicked butt in second and third and that is all that matters.
GO CANUCKS GO!!!
Ducks can have a tee time set for themselvs next week because they wont be staying around for very long.!! Cups comming home to Vancouver this year!
| Canucks Posted: 4/24/2007 6:56:55 AM | Would LOVE to see the 'Nucks give it to Burke ...and especially to Pronger (being an Oiler fan). They'll have to play more like yesterday's second period than any other time in the Dallas series to get it done though. I really thought Vigneault was off his nut when he had Cowen and Hanssen out there on the second powerplay unit, back when the 'Nucks were still down 1-0. what the heck was THAT all about? It's Game 7 man! No time to make a statement! First time in (modern era) NHL history a team gets shut out three times and still wins ths series! Way to go 'Nucks! | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/24/2007 9:58:54 AM | Anaheim is heavily favoured to win. This could be a rough series =|
See how good Luongo really is. Go Van =P
| Canucks Posted: 4/24/2007 3:39:18 PM | nucks should beat ducks
ducks have no discipline and always take stupid penalties
canucks have better discipline then the ducks :P
| Canucks Posted: 4/24/2007 6:27:25 PM | | ROUND 2 BABY!!!!!! YA!!!!!! | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/24/2007 8:16:25 PM | "Anaheim is heavily favoured to win." No such thing as a heavy favourite now. Favoured yes, but I doubt it'll be a blowout either way. Undeniably, Anaheim has more depth up front. Their second line (Getzlaf, Perry and Penner) could be the best all-sophomore line in the past two decades and may be the best second line in the league today (although Buffalo would have something to say about that). Defensively, their Big 3 (Pronger, Neidermeyer, Beauchemin) are the best top-three D in the NHL. But the Stanley Cup is won with goaltending and that's where Vancouver is better - at the No. 1 spot anyway. Certainly Anaheim's #2 man, whichever one it is, is a lot better than Sabourin. But Bryzgalov is a total flake. He fell apart in the Edmonton series last year and can easily be thrown off his game - as can Giguere (remember him going "Jiggy" on Ryan Smythe?). If Luongo goes down the 'Nucks are done. But with him in net I wouldn't put money against them. | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/26/2007 3:42:24 AM | ***hides in the corner and crys about tonights game***
Go Canucks Go | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/26/2007 8:16:44 AM | | Now it's up to Vigneault to make the proper adjustments. This is where a coach shows his worth. | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/26/2007 10:01:30 PM | | Where are Cliff Ronning and Geoff Courtnall when you need them? | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/27/2007 9:28:58 PM | Well, I must say, the officiating in tonight's Canucks/Ducks game is...um...interesting. Very creative 'interpretations' of the rules regarding penalties. They're actually starting to make the figure skating judges in the Olympics look good by comparison!!
By the way, whatever happened to the idea of protecting the goalies?
| Canucks Posted: 4/27/2007 10:14:53 PM | | next you all will be saying that Pronger shoulda got a penalty for that high stick on selanne!!!!!!lol | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/27/2007 10:54:40 PM | and Cowan ends the night! | |
| Canucks Posted: 4/30/2007 1:07:48 PM | game 3 :
well the game started slugish i wish we had scored on all those chances we had you'd think bulis is due same with jannik hansen
good effort near the end
kinda disappointing tho that first goal :/
and whats up with pronger haha he looked totally zoned out in game 3 :)
still think tho the nucks will win in 7 regardless what anyone says ;)
| Canucks Posted: 4/30/2007 9:19:17 PM | "next you all will be saying that Pronger shoulda got a penalty for that high stick on selanne!!!!!!lol"
Nothing would surprise me!
| Canucks Posted: 5/1/2007 12:17:42 PM | | You do realize Jan Bulis is a useless pilon right? He had never been good anywhere, and with the glaring lack of talent in Vancouver, he's not going to be any better... Outside of Naslund, the Sedins, and Luongo, they got nothing worth bragging about. | |
| Canucks Posted: 5/1/2007 1:20:34 PM | have you seen Jan Bulis skate??? Hes soooooooooooo FAST!!!!!!!!!! Definatly would like to see him put a few in tonight!!
IM GOING TO THE CANUCKS GAME TONIGHT HURRAY!!!!!!!!
Go Canucks Go!!!! | |
| Canucks Posted: 5/1/2007 3:14:40 PM | | If skating speed was the main factor behind a player's scoring, Sergei Samsanov would've been deadly this year. Bulis has never scored more than 20 in his NHL career, not going to change now :P | |
| Canucks Posted: 5/2/2007 1:18:55 AM | ......( Nothing ).....
uhmmmmm.....
Go...Canucks...Go
.... ... .. .
| |
| Canucks Posted: 5/2/2007 3:11:41 AM | | I can't believe the canucks blew a 2-0 lead going into the third. Performance like that would want to make baby Jesus want to cry. | |
