It all comes down to being courteous and it takes just a couple of minutes or less to get your point across. Not replying at all shows disrespect, afterall, that person spent the time to email you.
If I am hounded after the initial negative reply, I will not reply again, I just block them. | |

Mum always said "manners takes no time" .... but then again she also said that "eating your crusts would make your hair go curly" | |

I nearly always reply,there are a couple I haven't replied to but they are in the minority
What is frustrating though is that I can go out and meet someone and have no trouble getting a phone no. and I do say don't give it to me if you wouldn't like to go out and spend time together. I like to meet people face to face,you pick up a lot more that way.Still some women get pages and pages of mail so how do you sort through that. | |

OH YES IT DOES! Lol, you can tell sometimes if there is NO attraction from an email. Really.... try these:
"heya sexc wana chat? " = no attraction
"reallylongrunonsentencewithsomanytyposthatitisdifficulttoreadandimnotsureatallwhatheistryingtosaybecauseicantbebothereddecipheringit" = no attraction
"yes i smoke but promise to bring toothbrush and toothpaste on our first date" = jesus you're desperate - no attraction
It's far more difficult to tell if there IS an attraction from an email.
I like to meet people face to face,you pick up a lot more that way.
True, so do I. But I need to email/chat for a while first. Safety issues. Also filtering. I find a lot of nut jobs don't reveal their true nature in the first contact or two, but after a couple of chats they relax and the true person emerges. See ya! 
Oh yeah, and I do try to reply to most emails - but if they don't take the time to do more than a virtual grunt or whistle, why should I bother? | |

but i do hear they still catch poeple..
& yer i still answer all emails...
almost all, are just good people looking for new friends..dont have a problem with that at all... 
& I guess we live in hope too

If the person you are responding to get's agro, then they have shown you their true colours.....You won't ever meet them, so what's there to lose?
