Thanks to Loki and foo for my transportation last night, saved me some bucks on cab fare and it was worth the time for conversation.
Also, there was a tall blond that was on the dancefloor last night with her friends who cut in on my dance with bettyboop. Whoever you are, thanks for the dance but I'd like to know who you are... | |

Posted: 2/18/2007 10:56:16 AM | owww, my head!  Missing dodgeball today because I had such an awesome time last night at the V-day bash. It was great to see some familliar faces from both Edmonton and Calgary events and also for a couple favs saying hi! 
Would you believe that DD1, alpha q and us 3 gals had to stand outside the bar for an hour to get a cab? WTF? They wouldn't take all 5 of us and as it happened we all ended up sharing a limo with a Ruskie guy and some blokes from The Wild. Have to write a letter to Stephen Mandel to complain about the cab shortage. If you don't want drunk people spilling out from bars at closing time onto Whyte Ave, then slap the cab companies, not the patrons. Good thing it wasn't -20 out or we'dve all froze to death waiting. As it was, DD1 had to drag a drunk idiot out from the middle of the road so he wouldn't get the attention of the cops and become road kill.

Posted: 2/18/2007 11:30:33 AM | Wow, it was sure nice to get out and about. Thanks to all the organizers and their helpers for putting together such a wonderful event. The pre-meet at chili's was was nice as I got to meet with friends, who I hadn't seen for abit, and made afew more. So an added thanks to ladybug for getting that together,also. I never realised how many people I knew here in edmonton. And now I can say I had the pleasure of making afew more aquaintances. Hoping we all stay in touch. Till next time.

Posted: 2/18/2007 12:20:54 PM | OHMIGOD! My body is not liking the after effects of last nite, buy hey, it was worth it! Had a great time last nite. It was great to see everyone at the bash. Thanks to the people who organized the event. Some of us stood outside for an hour waiting to get a cab, but hey, what the hell.
Hope to see you all again sometime. Looking forward to attending another event. | |
