Brizo...
Now my friend
that made Wabbit smile
for I am sure many follow
these couples that walk the mile
from Fudds to Squirrels
to Wabbits and a She-Beast
love blossoms for these characters
like a bread made lovingly with yeast
to see others make it
causes to us a warming glow
that love can be found and embraced
truly is a wonderous thing to know. | |

Boundries and roadblocks cannot hold out its girth;
lives need to know....within all this it lurks....................
Love shall climb mountains;
stand high and tall!
Travels oceans and rivers....if that be the call!
Heart knows only of feelings and want;
To defy its meaning.......only brings us all lost!
Imagine the moment of life without this?
Know that the immeasurable pleasure.....bliss;

The Day is Here
The day has finally come we’ve waited for so long
These years our love growing, each day more strong
Another time waiting for the plane to land
To touch his smiling face, hold onto his hand
Smother him with kisses so very exciting
Another time together another reuniting
But this one will be different from all of the others
No return trip to plan no empty feelings to smother
This time he will stay, another chapter to start
Our love to express, something dear to the heart
A day that’s been planned and so anticipated
It’s been worth every single day we have waited
Every email we’ve sent, every phone call at night
Thinking of our love far away, longing to hold tight
Knowing this day the long distance phone calls will end

Posted: 12/7/2007 1:25:38 PM | Just wanted to share another two that are very dear to me and speak so much of the important role that others play in our lives, that have a hand in molding us into who we are, love us we're not always as lovable, the rock of our lives, our friends and family.
The Language of the Heart
If the heart could just speak, what would it say
Would it talk about feelings or beauty some way
Would the words be magnificent, majestic and grand
Or something simple, easy to know and understand
If the heart were an artist, what type of works would it create
Something complex, intricate and detailed to appreciate
Would it be a painting, a sculpture, a photograph or prose
A poem, a ballad, a symphony, perhaps any of those
If the heart were a musician what type of sound
Would the heart make with every beat, every pound
Would the music be loud and full like a symphony’s splendor
Or soft and low, comforting, gentle and tender
If the heart were a writer, what type of works would it pen
A play, a sonnet, a novel of love of a woman and man
But the heart doesn’t speak, write, sing or play
It’s message isn’t delivered any of those ways
When we listen for the message it wants us to know
We are rewarded with feelings that continue to flow
When our hearts are so full we feel it would burst
We know what we need to, the best and the worst
While the heart cannot write, doesn’t sing cannot play
All of the art that is created comes to us this way
From the language of the heart, the feelings that flow
The heartbeats of people who listen and know
What the heart has to say in all of it’s beauty
Must be told by those who can, it’s a gift and a duty
To share with the world in the medium of art
The most beautiful language of all, the language of the heart.
Writing our life story
What type of a book will our life story be
A drama, a mystery, a love story, maybe all three
We’re writing our own stories each day that we live
In the lives that we touch, the love that we give
The words that we speak, the things that we do
Are our life story written all our life through
The works may not be written on paper or penned
May not be in print, only in the hearts of women and men
Every person we know, everyone we have met
Is a chapter, a page, so let us not ever forget
The importance of those who cross our life’s path
For a lifetime, for years, or for a moment, if that
They’re all a part of the story of our life
Whether a friend, our family, a husband, a wife
All are important, no matter how brief or how long
They helped mold our lives, helped keep us strong
Those who have helped us to love and to grow
The lessons they teach, the seeds that they sow
Some have moved on, some have left us forever
They have left us with life lessons, memories to treasure
As we live out our lives, may we always be aware
That our lives are not for just us, but to share
As a part of a much greater, much larger plan
That God has for us all, each woman, each man
Yes each life is a precious new gift to this world
A gift from the hand of God, a new plan unfurled
May we all be reminded as our life’s book we write
That our lives have a grand purpose, let us unite
In our wishes, our purpose, our stern resolve
To live out God’s plan, to give other’s God’s love. | |

I agree that "going the distance" deserves
Falling in love involves a great deal of luck, in being connected with a kindred spirit..........staying in love requires sheer hard work, determination, patience, and forgiveness.
To Bucsgirl and Sasquatch....................I hope this hour finds the two of you safe and secure in each other's arms. There will be much adjusting and accomodating in learning to share your daily lives together. May God be with you every step of the way.

With hope and faith it has grown everyday!
Within my heart beating so very strong
hope reigns for a love I have searched for long
faith always dwells within my spirit it's true
that God has granted me a new life's view
these two things keep me moving ahead
to a final day where two who love deep shall wed
they are what I only have to hold onto
till I am united forever with this love I have found true.
In a couple days time
I leave these northern lands
to once again joyously
join with my darling man's hands
where we will again
look into each other's eyes
feel that leap of a heart
as our souls soar up to waiting skies
a feeling I can't explain
only with him does it become real
where life is finally complete

to see friendly faces stopping in
"sissy" we've really been wondering
just where you've been
looking forward to great weather
leaving this cold behind
longing desperately
to look again into eyes so kind
Brizo you stopping in
brought a tear to my eye
made this widdle Wabbit's heart
truly and deeply sigh
for it speaks of great support
to see friends gather near
wanting to see a love unite
knowing we are by all of you held dear
blessed are we I shout out loud
