seeing all of these squirrels gathering
makes Wabbit from down south smile and cheer
BestKept, Jules, Sissy, and Garden
swinging in to share a thought or two
elated am I to see this
for my birthday morn view!!!
Things are quite sweet here
yesterday I had a birthday lunch with my father in law
a nearly five hour visit with him
left me in total awe
seems he kind of likes this Wabbit
we yacked away the afternoon which was fun
sitting on a park bench together
under a gentle, warming sun
I can greatly see
where my man gets his charm
for his father is one of respect
would most definitely keep a lady from harm
a very nice afternoon
with my father in law to be
of his life and his country
I was granted much to see.
A Christmas party last night
hosted by a local radio station is where we did go
so many amazing, friendly people
chatter around this party room did flow
met some nice ladies
hoping we become great friends
emails were exchanged
so we can communicate when my visit ends.
Hunter has planned a birthday surprise
says I must be sure to bring my coat
have no idea where he's taking me
could he be serenading me on a river boat?
trying to get some clues
yet he keeps his lips closed tight
so I guess this Wabbit will just have to wonder
for I will not find out until tonight...
Kids called this morning
sweet voices bringing birthday cheer
each one sang to me
their words to my heart so clear
nothing would be more perfect
then to have them all here with me
I am hoping soon in our future
that this wish I will be able to see.

Wabbit is still here in Bama
a snow storm had my Sunday flight shut down
wanting to get back to my babies
had me wearing a frown
yet family assured me
all with them would be well
till Tuesday they would care for them
this they to me did tell
So...
A few extra blessed days
I am granted to be with my darling man
cuddle with him closely watching holiday movies
simply elated to just be holding his hand
This visit has been truly sweet
much hospitality has been shown to me
a lovely card given by my future father in law
his words of his approval of Wabbit were plain to see
We met with an Immigration lawyer
Wabbit's mind is now more at ease
his directions on how to go about this
definitely to my heart did please
a very sweet man
who wants to join those in love
a heart of gold did shine from him
I do believe our angels sent us to him from above.
As far as my birthday
a very sweet day it was indeed
romantic gestures all day were given
I watched as my Hunter took the lead
out into a dark night we did go
no idea of where he was taking me
excited was this man
truly there was something I needed to see
his surprise was taking me to the zoo
showing me all the wonderous Christmas lights
beyond words was I at this view
as I gazed upon these sights
climb aboard did we
upon a quaint little zoo train hand in hand
chug away into this night it did
taking us through this animal land
watching small children
smile at these sights with glee
truly was one of the best birthday presents for me
This surprise was not over
seemed there was a certain man we needed to see
my darling man lead with a smile
to come with him to sit upon Santa's knee
a picture was taken
Santa told me to snuggle in tight
smiling was this Wabbit
truly was this a delight
this picture will always be
a sweet memory of my birthday
where two hearts in love
went out into a night to play.....
(Wabbit's rambling ....lol)
Been visiting with his kids
around a table playing card games which was fun
sweet boys they truly are
bringing with them warmth of the sun
so glad for these times
blessed to have extra days to spend
thanking our heavenly father
for of time he did to us lend... | |

A very early morn
had us travelling for my flight
my eyes as we drove kept glancing over
to get that one last sight
knowing our goodbye
was soon to come
our hands grasped together tightly
not to come undone
time ticked by quickly
through security I must go
to leave him yet again
brought to me such great sorrow
a final goodbye
a kiss to say "see you again"
our hands did part
this visit had now come to an end
once upon the other side
we met on either pane of the glass
words "I love you"
through this thickness did pass
"goodbye Alabama"
I said within my mind
such hospitality I have been shown
so many whom are kind
to a plane I did board
off into skies away from my love
tears trickled down as I sat
soar did I up above
that vision of you
so clear in my mind as I did fly
paining me so
to see tears in your eye.........
Now I am home
kids so happy to see me
hugs and kisses given

Christmas is upon us
much to celebrate it's true

Heart is as heavy.....as newfallen snow!
My heart feels so deeply for him!
He drove past his best friends...house....
saw her car tonite!
This his birthday.....
my God...how much can one young man take!???
I am sorrowful....and sentimental....yet his heart on this his birthday....
makes me mental!!!!!!!
I wanna switch her...and his best friend

When you care for someone, the words just come out naturally.
I wrote my first poem May 2006 and it was about a special person.
I thought it was okay but when others read it, they loved it. I guess, because when you love something or someone...the words just pour out beautifully.

She will feel the boomerang of karma, this is for sure
To hurt a heart so innocent and pure
A lesson we will send her via our 'magic' power.
When she gives her heart and is ga ga over a man, it shall sour.
Not that I truly wish ill to anyone... but, human nature, in and of itself, seems to even the score.
For everyone there is a time & your son will find the perfect mate to not be sad... forevermore!

our wait now is not long
trees are all lit
Santa will be on his way
dropping his sack
leaving toys for children to play
lots of gatherings
friends and family near
love will be spread in abundance
for it's that time of year
