| When the words just come... Posted: 2/22/2008 5:01:27 PM | My sweetie arrives home tomorrow after a one-week absence. I have written this poem for his homecoming.
GOD MUST HAVE BEEN INSPIRED
those finely-chiselled features, the high cheekbones and sculpted nose
perfectly-formed lips a work of art begging to be kissed, the white teeth that light up your grin, that mesmerizing smile
the waves of curls for my fingers to surf, skiing through silken abundance
those chocolate-brown eyes with long thick lashes, hypnotic
skin so smooth so soft for my hands to glide, starting with the broad shoulders to the back, down the arms to entwine our fingers, yours and mine
to bury my face in your chest with your strong arms wrapped around me, and just breathe
breathe in the scent of this man I adore, this man who captivates all of my senses
God must have been inspired on the day He created you

| When the words just come... Posted: 2/22/2008 8:46:55 PM | thanks for the comments and thanks also for welcomeing me with open arms...hear is the newiest poem i've wrote:
your my life
Forever is what I say to you, No other words could be more true, Every morning I see you, Before I open my eyes, Because everything about you, My heart has memorized, No one has made me feel this way, Look forward to seeing you each and every day, You feel me with emotion, I feel my only reason for being is being with you, And there is nothing I wouldn't do, I try to make you believe and it may be hard for you to believe, You are everything I take in, You are my air to breathe, It may scare you that I feel this way, But I promise I wont leave you until my last day, nothing can take that away, I live as I breathe for you now and always....

Garden Squirrel....
What a magnificent piece of poetry that you leave here for this man you adore to write such words of appreciation I believe will truly touch him to his inner core.
breathe in the scent of this man I adore, this man who captivates all of my senses
For another to touch us alert everything we are inside truly is a man that we will speak of with true adoring pride rare is this find not many will have it in view yet if it should come your way there is no mistaking that it is true.
Thank you Garden...may your homecoming this evening be sweet and wonderful, as you are to me my friend.

Whispering Winds
It seems as if winds around me blow quite strong messages within them speak of a wait not long prepare you must for ahead lies great change of what you once were blowing winds did rearrange take steps without haste for a grand move comes to you these winds are soothing as they lift me to what I must do ahead I move forward now these winds upon my back with a gentle push I know now I must not slack upon my ear a name so sweetly plays calling me to where I need to go "come to me my darling" our love for a lifetime you need to know.

| fourteen days to go Posted: 2/23/2008 9:51:40 PM | thanks again for the comments. I get my poems from the want of finding my true love and times where i thought i found her but it didn't happen..like this one:
Touch
The touch of your hand, it still lingers the sound of your voice, it still rings the warmth of your smile I remember fading with time it should seem.
So how do you have this control? How do I shake these memories? Why do I still love you so? Remembering all of our history.
The days pass, but you're still here not in my arms, but still in my heart. I reached for your love but I'm still empty I'm an open book that's been torn apart.
The thought of our dreams are still with me We shared in this life, we shared with our love we gave to each other completely we only broke down when push came to shove.
I remember the nights we shared laughing I remember the nights we made love How many times that I've wondered if we really tried, could we rise above?
You know for me this isn't easy I'm still the book that's been torn apart I still have these pages you're reading why can't you give me what's in your heart?
The touch of your hand still lingers my hand in yours the world is ours I would slip that ring on your finger and close that old book and start a new one with you.
So how do I ask for your forgiveness? How do I dry those tears that were cried? How can we start this all over? How do I do this when love takes two?
I know that my touch with you still lingers I know that my heart is still in your hands I know that we can get past this point and once again become lovers and friends.
The warmth of your touch starts me burning the heat of your fire, it burns deep in my soul we gave to each other completely lets' give to each other a place to call home.

| 13 days to go Posted: 2/24/2008 6:27:42 AM | Happy Sunday everyone..
Nice to see you back Sweethearted woman as to this question you ask when love flows sweetly through a heart to write poetry or find words to express becomes not a task they simply just flow for love brings so much to say all I can say in reply is that these words just come my way.
Nice to also see you back Hellriaser
A poem of lost love is one hard to bare speaking of a time where with another you greatly did share you speak so candidly of what it was that you felt at that time yet for some reason or another this sweet love found crossed a line where no longer could it fulfill one the same it seems now one sits so somber relishing in broken dreams yet I have found so greatly that each time a broken heart comes to our view it shall make us stronger and wiser now we will know more in life which partner is best for you mistakes need to happen broken hearts will heal trust in when I say this again sweet magical love you will feel.
Thank you Hellraiser, keep writing for I feel you have great talent for one of such a young age. Depth of soul is quite evident....take care, and good luck finding that lady of your dreams!!!!

| 13 days to go Posted: 2/24/2008 11:11:27 AM | Sitting here hurting Home with the flu My only reprieve Is thinking of you
My head hurts badly My throat is so dry Yet I think of you I smile and sigh
You are my comfort From across many miles Even in pain You cause many smiles
So I'll take my meds I'll go back to bed Sleep with the image Of you in my head

| 12 days to go Posted: 2/25/2008 6:09:38 AM | Poetry of Amy Lowell A Dome of Many-coloured Glass
"To-morrow to Fresh Woods and Pastures New"
As for a moment he stands, in hardy masculine beauty, Poised on the fircrested rock, over the pool which below him Gleams in the wavering sunlight, waiting the shock of his plunging. So for a moment I stand, my feet planted firm in the present, Eagerly scanning the future which is so soon to possess me.

| 12 days to go Posted: 2/25/2008 6:20:07 AM | Warm sunlight breaking through my window today upon my arched face sweetly it does play warming me hence a smile does erupt then with a wink gone is it so abrupt always moving just as life is it seems yet but for a moment this endearing sun reminded me of walking along peaceful streams. | |

| 12 days to go Posted: 2/25/2008 6:30:06 AM | Drifting

As I sifted through photos one silently fell into my hand so lightly it came to me as if the weight of a small grain of sand as I looked at this picture such a familiar face stared back at me a softness filled my heart for it was my dear grandmother you see I began to look closer our smiles are the same it's true more similarities instantly came to my view how we squint our eyes roundness of cheeks the same softly from my lips I said out loud her name missing her so gone for many years now has she yet no matter if no longer on this earth she reigns as a big part of me this photograph brings me back to wonderful memories I pray now she is playing in skies above flying so free.

| When the words just come........ Posted: 2/26/2008 5:04:15 AM | Been trying to pick songs for dances at the wedding....I am looking for ideas for my father/daughter dance, so if anyone has a favourite I would appreciate having the lyrics posted here...such an important dance, would love to have a very sweet one for my daddy and I. Of course Hunter and I have already picked our first dance song...but this one seemed to be tossing around in my mind last night.....
Nobody Loves Me Like You Do
Like a candle burning bright Love is glowing in your eyes A flame to light our way That burns brighter everyday But now I have you Nobody loves me like you do
Like a leaf upon the wind I could find no place to land I dreamed the hours away And wondered everyday Do dreams come true Nobody loves me like you do
Chorus: What if I'd never met you Where would I be right now Funny how life just falls in place somehow You've touched my heart in places that I never even knew Cause nobody loves me like you do
I was words without a tune I was a song still unsung
A poem with no rhyme A dancer out of time But now there's you Baby, nobody loves me like you do
chorus
So if you have any suggestions for songs for father/daughter dance...please help this Wabbit out!

| When the words just come........ Posted: 2/27/2008 7:35:53 AM | Always And Forever lyrics
Artist: Luther Vandross
Always and forever Each moment with you Is just like a dream to me That somehow came true, yeah
And I know tomorrow Will still be the same Cuz we got a life of love That won't ever change and
[1] - Everyday love me your own special way Melt all my heart away with a smile Take time to tell me you really care And we'll share tomorrow together Ooh baby, I'll always love you forever
Ever, ever, ever There'll always be sunshine When I look at you It's something I can't explain Just the things that you do If you get lonely Call me and take A second to give to me That magic you make and
[Repeat 1]
[Ad lib until fade]
This would be a lovely Father daughter dance....dont cha think?

| When the words just come........ Posted: 2/27/2008 7:55:24 AM | GM mmmmmy...thank you for bringing good old Luther to this page, what an amazing voice he possesses. I have been seriously thinking about this father/daughter dance, and this song keeps coming to my mind, and yes it does go along with our butterfly theme. Thinking it will be my number one choice..............
Butterfly Kisses -Bob Carlisle
There's two things I know for sure. She was sent here from heaven, and she’s daddy’s little girl. As I drop to my knees by her bed at night, She talks to Jesus, and I close my eyes. And I thank God for all the joy in my life, But most of all... Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer. Stickin’ little white flowers all up in her hair. "Walk beside the pony daddy, it’s my first ride." "I know the cake looks funny, daddy, but I sure tried." Oh, with all that I’ve done wrong, I must have done something right. To deserve a hug every morning, and butterfly kisses at night.
Sweet sixteen today. She’s looking like her momma a little more every day. One part woman, the other part girl. To perfume and makeup, from ribbons and curls. Trying her wings in a great big world. But I remember...
Butterfly kisses after bedtime prayer. Stickin’ little white flowers all up in her hair. "You know how much I love you daddy, but if you don’t mind, I’m only going to kiss you on cheek this time." With all that I’ve done wrong, I must have done something right. To deserve a hug every morning, and butterfly kisses at night.
All the precise time. Like the wind, the years go by. Precious butterfly, spread your wings and fly.
She’ll change her name today. She’ll make a promise, and I’ll give her away. Standing in the bride room just staring at her. She asked me what I’m thinking, and I said, "I’m not sure, I just feel like I’m losing my baby girl." Then she leaned over... and gave me...
Butterfly kisses, with her mama there. Stickin’ little white flowers all up in her hair. "Walk me down the aisle daddy, it’s just about time." "Does my wedding gown look pretty daddy?" "Daddy don’t cry." With all that I’ve done wrong, I must have done something right. To deserve a hug every morning, and butterfly kisses. I couldn’t ask God for more, man, this is what love is. I know I’ve gotta let her go, but I’ll always remember. Every hug in the morning, and butterfly kisses...
