Posted: 4/6/2008 8:12:24 PM | mmmmmy...well thank ya....i have no doubt that love is out there...and these two are living proof of such.......good people CAN find each other and do on a daily basis (in friendship and in love)....contrary to alot of my more "serious" writes I'm just as giddy and hopeful as the next (and when all else fails I go dance to my girlz  )....thank YOU for your friendship........and, hey, Hunter, I didn't mean to leave you out in all of this giddy girl talk.....i'm most happy for you too....you've got a beautiful woman there, inside and out, and only an awesome man could make such a woman so incredibly happy.....and THANK YOU for being a good man (you good guyz don't hear that NEAR enough!)

Thank you for this story...now I ask you again...truth or fiction?
Wabbit as in all things, fact is blended in fiction. That one line? Is fact but in the end the person who taught me was fictional in his humanity. That said........ thank you.. and...
For a week I've written about cells, walls confined
Ways of getting past or a leg up, so to speak
One thing I wrote over and over are why are the girls coming
to me now? The ones who've been hurt and it was only one
I feel deeply and try to turn that off
Friday I realized I cannot
There's a young girl in a foreign bed, strangers
as her father is in a cell
Her mother's a loon...wish someone'd certified her long ago
Let's hope the state won't allow the mum to take her soon
The cries I feel as deeply as a wounded animal
I can no longer reach out to help, yet can guide
Doesn't matter what is fact or fiction when love is
such an amazingly beautiful and ugly contradiction
The only world to conquer is my own
To do so, we all need help along the way
So mothers be good to your daughters and sons
As fathers should do the same..

I fully intend to enjoy 50 all the way!
This is my week to relax and to play.
My sweetie took me out for a wonderful lunch,
and for that I love him a bunch.
Now my three boys will take me to dinner,
and for that gesture I say they are winners.
I shall eat, drink and be merry all the day through,
and bask in the love of those who are true blue.
