I've sailed the seas on the back of a rat,
Had to jump off when it got ate by the cat.
Now I only ride the best, sea farin dog,
We like to play cards an swig on the grog.
I got me an eye patch, makes the girls smile,
I kin strut me peg leg, with grace and style.
Sometimes I git tipsy, drinkin too much rum,
I fall right off the dog and land on me bum.
On the back of me dog, right into the blue,
Swashbuckler at heart, I be sailin straight an true.

Two years ago today...
Let me tell you about my lil' bro-bro
That's brother in sister talk, ya know...
6'5" he was in size
And he had the most beautiful eyes
A giant sweety he was it's true
And gentle as a lamb too
He had a smile that went with a huge hug
He was full of laughter ;
He would do anything for you out of love
He was talented in bead work, knitting and basket ball...
That might sound funny, but that's not nearly all!
He had a special gift of bring the Bible to life
And especially for choosing Ella, for his wife...
They were married only four days I'm afraid
Then my new sister as with us, were to mourn at his grave
Yes, it was sudden and he was only 39
But of this, I do not whine
He has gone to be with his Lord in heaven
His spirit and faith were strong, this is a given
And as I remember him and his handsom face
I know he waits for us to join him....one day.
Thanks to those who were there for me two years ago....I remember him with fondness, giggles & smiles, not of saddness~no.

To smile in rememberance
as we recall those special things they used to do
embrace them again with fondness
as in our minds they are brought again to view
Never to be forgotten
no matter how many years shall pass by
for an intricate part of us are they
even though with angels wings from us they travelled away to blue skies.....
Thank you for sharing your rememberances of your brother Bestkept, I do in fact remember that day very well. I lost an uncle when I was 18 who was just barely in his 30's to a very rare virus, it was a very hard thing to grasp, meaning that he could be taken from us so young. Yet some things in life we will never understand, simply that it is all part of God's plan.

Well this Wabbit is looking kind of

maybe just a tad "punky"
see originally my hair is brown
yet blonde I've been now for so many years
to be a brunette well it just causes me to frown
so it's time to fix this Wabbit up
kind of feeling a little despair
need to freshen up
this long past due Wabbit hair
so off to my hairdresser
hoping she'll get my colour just right
skunky from me will be gone
put completely out of sight
a fair haired Wabbit again I will be
amazing how ones colour of hair
totally transforms thee?
Any of the rest of you feel that way about the colour of your hair?

Turned brunette in my 30's
Lots of grey in these 40's
And now blonde by choice too!
I tried all colors it seems
Including a sickly green hue!
I've been all shades of brown
And tried the reds once or twice
But I always come back to blonde...
It feels just right!
So if you are needing a lift
Put your hand on the throttle
Be brave, even if temporarly,
And grab yourself a bottle!

left my hair dying days
way up there on a far away shelf
going to a professional
got to have it completely right

almost down to the core

And... now fingernail polish... mine will cause folks to definitely stare.
Naturally red... that I've been ... but, for many years I did dye it blonde.
Then, for whatever reason, I returned to my roots (literally)
Now, I'm fire engine red again
I'm a matching the looks of my blood kin.
Fingernails,.. I must agree
What in the fruuuuk are they putting in it. What can it be.
Hard to get off. Sooo, I just let it peel

Wabby must use a good base, with vitamins
Many makers of polish provide them
I use one that is also a "quick drying protective gloss"
Polish stays on forever and I know, I'm hard on my paws!
Use to be a base called, "Starting Over"
....an appropiate base if I ever heard one.....
A beauty supply store is suppose carry the best
But I go to the grocery...theres is just as good, I guess...
