Serendipity...nice poem and thank you, Happy Mother's Day!
Autumn .....
Who did nothing wrong but love with exuberance
Everyone is different in this world
Some of us quieter and not as demonstrative
But we need all kinds on this planet to fill it with love
It is all about acceptance
not following another crowd
standing to defend a friendship while others mock
speak for them out loud
looking within another
seeing their goodness before any bad
knowing in this world of such anger
that of friendship given we should be glad
for yes this squirrel you speak of
is quite exuberant beyond belief
yet refreshing she is to me with her great zest
a loving heart that has released me from much grief.
Your public apology is commendable in my eyes , may forgiveness come. | |

There's so much a person could say,
About the wonders of God's creation
I for one adore nature
a place where I truly feel at peace
with wind, water, and blowing trees
this is where I find the greatest release.

Well this following write could get long
I'll prepare you for this before you start
I've had an amazing day it's true
here I shall let my thoughts depart
They are calling for rain tomorrow
not pleasant on Mother's Day to view
so today we decided to celebrate
under a gorgeous sky of blue
Together we all prepared a picnic feast
nine of us heading out to my special spot
breeze was just perfect for windows to be rolled down
of weather here it is far from hot
A nearly two hour drive
lead us to a hidden away park
left just after lunch
didn't want to arrive there in the dark
Wabbit and her widdle wabbits
set our feet upon glorious trails this afternoon
as we walked through such beauty
I made sure they stopped to hear all the birds sweetly croon
A mist from a water's edge
greeted us as if in hello
soon we would stand above glorious waters
take in a breathtaking view below
All the boys wanted to wander on their own
well because that's just what boys like to do
so scamper down these steep cliffs they did with ease
gone now were they from view
They were off to find drift wood
beach stones to fill my son's new fish tank
us girls were left to our own devices
my little girl tugged on my arm with a stiff yank
We headed to the other side
trails took us from the boys away
I stopped here and there in awe
truly it was a beautiful day
Things started to get more intense
sure footing was needed if we wished to go down
yet giggles of pure adventure erupted from all
not today did anyone wear a frown
Cross a creek we must
muddy coasts put us to task
my five year old looked to me in wonder
"how am I do this,?" her face did ask
Yet determination took over
proud I was as each girl made their way
for that beach of sweet blue waters
was calling them to come and play
After some huffing and puffing
finally to this beach our feet did land
instantly socks and shoes went flying
so did handfuls of sand
Things I noticed now were different
than when last Hunter and I were here
erosions of this coastline had occurred over winter
no longer down this beach was a path for us clear
Well Wabbit wanted to explore
didn't want this to get in her way
so into these waters I put my toes
coldness beyond belief quickly had me saying "no way"
Seems we were to go no further
back up these hills we must climb again
chattering from all who travelled
seemed to come with no end
All nine of us seemed to meet up in an instant
I am suppousing hunger brought these boys back
with a picnic table full of food
all sat down to attack
I smile as I type this
today for me will be a sweet memory
for I saw all my children one with nature
just as I have always wanted them to be
No better Mother's Day gift could I ask for
truly it didnt cost a dime
yet such joy was found today
with camera flashing sweet moments captured in time.

to again feel that sweet feeling of love
yet to me in reality it cannot come to me
I search open skies above
almost instantly sweet tender memories
float magnificently through my mind
again that love my heart hungers for
through imagination it does find
for I can walk through moments
that I have lived with my love so true
tiny glimpses fall before my eyes
my heart then is no longer blue
for he is there for me to behold
such romantic memories he has left for me
so hold on to them tightly I do
until again in reality this love I yearn for I will see. | |

even though rain here keeps us inside
games around a kitchen table we will do
beam I will at each with great pride
Last night I found myself in emergency
seems my son from his friends took a dare
as he was sliding down from a school roof
his finger did greatly rip and was in need of repair
Boys will be boys
is what I heard these nurses say
yet visions of a worse scenario that it could have been
to my mind greatly made their way
Yes, this Momma Wabbit
gave his friends great heck
words I expressed with a strong voice were...
"He could have broken his neck!"
Yet all is well now
shots and stitches he did receive
a lesson learned I hope
this I truly wish to believe.

just wanted to share a little poem that my oldest daughter
within her Mother's Day card brought to me near.....
(yes, she wrote it herself)
Flowers bloom on Mother's Day
so here's a chance to say "Hey"
and...have a Happy Mother's Day!
So take a look around
there's your little angel
standing on the ground
she's perky and pretty
and...mommy she's me!
"Mom, you're better than Hannah Montanna"
(This was shocking , well because my daughter is what we call a "Hannah Montanna freak." To see words that I am better than her...well this kind of caused my heart to skip a beat... )
"Mom , you rock like Hannah Montana"
