Deep Within'
Someone who can silence the voices,
but be a voice for the silent and weak.
Think different to what is expected by most,
and still stand fearless and speak.
To be able to give light to a person,
without the use of a candle.
Paint pictures on walls to show others the way,
and yet not be branded a vandal.
Back down in the heat of a fight,
and not care they don't look the tougher.
Unphased by what people may think,
concerned only what they think of each other.
Unaffraid to fail by a mile,
in order to move a mere inch.
Will walk on fire and glass in the name of justice,
and in the face of defeat,not flinch!
Value life over monetary value,
truth over power and fame.
Take heed from disatisfaction in others,
even when he's not to blame.
Who looks back at the hard times gone by,
and remembers without inner frustration.
Treats everyday as if it were his last,
and looks foward with anticipation.
An individual who sees people for good,
and finds beauty when it's not clear to see.
If you ask me who that person is....
its the man i aspire to be.

Feathers flutter at the farmer
As he came around...
Made his choices
Among the noises
Then did drive them into town
At the diner was delivered
Feisty fowl then bound
And dealt with in a timely manner
Yes, those hens were crowned!
Soon the smell of deep fried dinner
Lingered as it browned
Fingers licked by all the patrons
Nowhere did a person frown!
