I was very happy"Bucsgirl" to see your thoughts and poem this morning that definitely brought  to my eyes for yes, it is evident that you can relate very well to the downfall of long distance relationships, that being the separating and waiting for the next visit to come. It is my belief though and I'm sure "Bucs" that you can agree that when you find a man (such as you did and so did I) that the wait is worth it, for they are men that stand among other men, they go the distance to bring you ALL of the love that they have to give, which is a rare find in the world today. As I have said within the forums, this man gives me more love and attention from far away, than a man that could be sitting right beside me on the couch, or one that I can drive twenty minutes to see. TRUST ME, been there and done that many times.....
That being said, I thank you again for a beautiful post.....peace and friendship to the both of you as well.

But sometimes we just have to say SHOO!
They are my cats, not rats
I love them!

Things are happening and I don't understand
It must be some magical land

So weird she has a beard!

I was half awake, he was over there, just out of reach.
I felt him stir.
He looked at me, and moved closer,
gently right up close to me.
His arm stretched across me, as his head came to rest warmly on my shoulder.
After a moment, he gently raised his head, and softly, kissed my lips.
He lay his head back down, cuddled up close.
Softly, sweetly he spoke.

I also love Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up". I had my foster youth choir sing it at a performance last year. Of course, it is a song about God, but the sentiments can also be applied to how a loved one raises our spirits.
This spring, my choir will perform Josh's new song, "You Are Loved".

Yes, Gardennut....the countdown is on....a matter of days and I will be with the Hunter man...yummy! I have always loved that song also....and you are right, it is meant to be thought of in a religious way, but can also be directed towards a loved one that truly inspires you...peace my friend!

At times we can feel we are at the depths of despair

Now prepare yourselves for this may be the corniest, silliest thing you might have read so far, but I am just in one of those cornball moods today, and this my dear friends is what I have come up with , try to get the visual.....or not?!
Wabbits On The Plane
All went well , I'm on my flight
I'm settled in, all seems right
When what does my wandering eyes appear
A tall, skinny man with you guessed it, Wabbit ears!
His nose was twitching as he neared my seat
I looked down at the floor, dang he had wabbit feet!
He look kind of normal, but I sure knew he was a wabbit
For he had a carrot in his hand, munching was his habit! 
That carrot looked tasty, but I would wait to get mine
I had a special carrot waiting, when my plane did decline
So this tall, skinny man said to me with a twinkle in his eye
"See even us Wabbits can fly high in the sky!"
With a giggle and a laugh, I knew just what he meant
Another wabbit on this flight, was heavenly sent........

Big EARS,,,,,all stickin up,,,in the air,,,,
ears,,,hittin, and knockin,,,,each has a pair!
They all are complaining,,,no room for our feet...
they are jumpin around,,,,dont wanna stay in their seat.
The pilot,,,his ears,,,,are all big and red!
He is tired,,,and says,,,Cant I just go to bed?
Widdle wabbits,,,tail,,,is waggin,,and wigglin,,,
she has got all the Wabbits,,,,laughin,,,and gigglin,
The food,,,,that is served,,,is of vegetable kind.
The stewardess wabbits,,,no more carrots,,can find!
The cwazy,,,,dweam,,,,,comes to a starteling end...
When Widdle Wabbit is awoken,,,to her Hunter she tends.
These plane rides,,,,are CWAZY,,,and sometimes,,,fun....
No Big Fat Farting Ladies,,,just a bunch of Wabbits,,,undone!
