But Hunter and Wabbit, did some riding
Went to meet Skylook, had some good food
Wonderful lady, her friend was a nice dude
Had a small shock, my Pops was there
He met My Wabbit, as we waited in a chair
He smiled at me, said, "Ya done good Boy"
Who woulda thought, I'd have a Wabbit for a toy
Bellys full, made small talk
Came time to leave, needed to walk
But we didn't walk, came straight to the house
Lizard was hungry, needed a mouse
Relaxed a bit, danced to some tunes
Still couldn't find out, what Jules did to the moon
Now I am tired, headed to bed
Wanting Wabbit, next to my head
Side by side, needing to spoon
Want to just stay that way, til around noon
Man's gotta eat, need me some lunch

On the long rocking chair porch on the bench at the far end
sat an unimposing couple chatting with a spry older gent.
Hunter, the look out, spotted me approach, my face all grins.
He nudged the Wabbit, Hugs were easy, we were fast friends.
I just had to hug the Elder Hunter, too, he was so adoring of the crew.
We watched for my friend in fresh evening air, lots of chatting to do.
I can't speak for what transpired between the lovebirds for
they can and will speak for themselves, I'm sure.
They are cute to watch in a way, because I know the signs
of being so close, so in each other's mind, they say love is blind
but then at the point of love so full, a challenging pendulum swings
And you start to see the life of the one you love is full of strange things.
(especially for a Canadian in Bama)
But enough about my speculations on the stars,
I was there for me, let them report on thars.
Dinner for me was such a happy occasion
Truy, I had the best time I have had in a season
And this morning, the skylook was ever so sunny
from the warmth granted me by Hunter and his honey. | |

Wow I am so emotional this morning, so this may be a long one for I just may ramble on, as this Wabbit tends to do at times.
First: "Tarra", how sweet of you to grace these pages with your presence which took me by surprise honestly. I love those lyrics very beautiful, looks like I shall begin a 6th CD when I return home. I thank you for you kinds word, please return and join in on our fun!

Jules .......your poetry at times leaves me teary eyed, as it holds such depth, truth, and a caring heart that could never be hid for it roams free for all to see. God bless you my friend.
Skylook......it was simply a pleasure to meet you and your friend last night. You are such an endearing soul that radiate warmth, friendship, and the fact that you reached out to me shall never be forgotten. I can only hope that our friendship will continue to grow as the years creep ahead of us. A most beautiful poem that you wrote this morning about our meeting at the Cracker Barrell.......especially the part about us sitting in the rocking chairs.
Dinki Di......may you keep returning again and again for I know that it makes your Bubba smile and that makes me smile as well.

To everyone who follows this ..........know that you are truly reading a love story, one at times overwhelms me that I am living in and walk through every day. It has been a wonderful experience that seems to grow in intensity each and every day.
To my Hunter: You are a man I have searched for my whole life, words need not be spoken for us to understand the depth of our love for each other. I know now that I have never truly been in love until now , for this is unlike anything in my life I have ever experienced or will again. Cracker Barrell.....meeting Skylook
Hunter came home , worked all day
We were hungry for each other, wanting to play
Yet dinner was planned, we had a meet
Skylook and her friend, we were off to greet
Took some playful pics before we left on our ride
Got us hot, we just wanted to stay in and hide
But we composed ourselves, got into the van
He gave me sexy looks all the way, only like a Hunter can
Our hands touched of a night to come
Wabbit was thinking she was going to "get some"
At the Cracker Barrell we waited for our friends to arrive
The night air was beautiful, made us feel alive
When what do I hear him say in my ear
"My pops is here my dear!"
My heart flip flopped with nerves to meet his dad
But what a sweet, friendly man and entertaining stories he had
He hugged me quite a few times, with a twinkle in his eye
I swear like his son, he held the stars in his eyes
Made me feel at ease right away
I'm sure his pops, causes many ladies hearts to sway
Skylook arrived and we all shared a hug
Girls, she's as cute as a bug
I am hoping that she felt a friendship with me
Many good times ahead with her I can see
To our table we did go
Yes under the table , Hunter's hands did a show (sorry skylook )
I noticed that I kept rubbing his back
In my mind, all I wanted to do was attack! 
Put myself in check though , didn't want to cause a scene
To make our friends uncomfortable, would just be mean
We talked of things over dinner
I think Skylooks friend is a winner
It was getting late , time to head back

I would love to gaze at an Alabama moon, see it's light
Totally freaks me out that it is hiding from me
In Canada it is always out for me to see
I agree this is the strangest thing
What do I need to do, so it will bring
Itself out into an Alabama sky
Does Wabbit need to cry .....
His new lizard came out for Wabbit during the day
Hunter doesn't see it sneak out to play
He's has some mice to eat
Waiting for him to come out again, think it will be neat
Thinking he is a little shy
Getting used to his new home, poor little guy
He travelled far to find his new family here
They will enjoy him for many years
I like our new pics to, sitting there rocking is sweet
Him holding my hand is a treat
We have tons more, yet hard to load with dial up
High speed, would make me raise my cup
Hunter called said, we are going out for barbeque tonight
It is his intent that I see all the sights
Two more nights here, they are counting down

Cracker Barrel is so much fun. Love browsing and looking at all the stuff
