| Dealing with Arrogance Posted: 4/12/2007 9:54:43 PM | I agree Loki, its more like they think they are a better individual because they are better at aspects of their job than their co-workers. When you don't value the positive sides of the people around you and focus on the negative WHILE boosting yourself up.....hello arrogance.
I'm better at differentiating between the necessary versus unnecessary than a lot of the people I've worked with. That doesn't make me more valuable as a person though, just maybe more valuable at a job with a high workload. But can I keep my desk neat? Do I have a lot of patience for needy types with emotional issues? Can I get out of my house without feeling rushed? Umm no...
The same people who I'd criticize for not being as good at me at the things I excel at, are probably a lot better than me at the things I don't. I am stronger with them than without them. | |
