| BBW vs A few extra pounds? Posted: 1/29/2008 11:26:29 AM | | personally i consider each category to mean the same thing body wise. i differentiate on personality though. BBW means you think youre fat and sexy, 'few extra pounds' means youre fat and realize its a problem. | |

This is not true at all. Both men and women are equally dishonest about their weight.

| BBW vs A few extra pounds? Posted: 11/5/2008 3:05:30 AM | I put Big & Tall/BBW on mine ... why lie? I'm 260 pounds and am not about to put average/athletic/a few extra pounds - I'm not any of those. I know I'm big a big guy, and admit it. Those who are interested contact me, those who aren't move on.
Regarding the fetish vs. preference thing, you'll get your share of both and will just have to weed them out through emails and conversations. But no matter what you look like or what you are, it seems likely that you'll get both of those anyway. For example, an Asian woman will probably get guys that just want to hook up with an Asian woman, those who buy into the stereotypes of that race, and those who just prefer that type of woman.
Fetish folks can usually be spotted pretty early, like when my roomie was asked if the suitor could perform a certain act with her ample proportions ... on the second, yes, the second IM.
I've always preferred BBW, Thick, Curvy, whatever, all my life, even when I was thinner. Just what I like. I don't consider it to be a fetish. If I clicked with someone who was thin, so be it. I'm just attracted to curvy women. Probably some of it has to do with the fact I'm a larger person myself. But I don't think of myself, and hate to be called, someone with a fetish. It's not, it's just a preference, nothing more, nothing less. I think that sometimes the word "fetish" is used for people that prefer BBW's because they don't fit into what our general society has labeled as beautiful, and that's a real shame.
Searching-wise, I advance search with both "A Few Extra Pounds" and "BBW".
Just my 2 cents here ... Philip

Confidence goes a long long way, keep it up and be the real person you are. You dont hide the fact that your a BBW so no big deal about putting it on your profile. That pic of you showing your back side is just to darn cute. Good luck, stay with it. P.S. You know guys ,a woman with a little extra always treats you good. (-:
