| WHAT'S THE MOST ORIGINAL PICK UP LINE EVER USED ON YOU....THAT WORKED Posted: 8/19/2007 6:33:38 AM | The man uses corny lines like: "You must be from Tennessee ~ cause you're the only 10 - I - see"
Ok so how would you know if I was his type? And why doesn't he just get on POF himself and do his own fishing? you don't even know me Tea so how can you say I am not someone's type... Hmmm...
1.Because you immediately assumed a man you read kind things about is gay, (nothing wrong with being gay, I've a few wonderful gay friends... something very wrong with you labeling someone else "gay" as a derrogatory trait!) 2. It was a joke post; he was reviewing the threads with me & I was telling him who each person was. 3. He makes fun of me for the small amount of time I spend on here; he say's not impressed by women who spend lots and lots of time posting (his own, outsider conclusion from seeing your name on every thread.) 4. I've known him for 3+ years... you're not his type, I've seen his type, you're not it... (no compliment intended or denied). 5. He's 30, a fact I forgot to mention to the mostly older than 30 pond.

| WHAT'S THE MOST ORIGINAL PICK UP LINE EVER USED ON YOU....THAT WORKED Posted: 8/19/2007 9:51:40 AM | ... something very wrong with you labeling someone else "gay" as a derrogatory trait!
but what's worse is that you assumed I meant anything in a derrogatory manner... if by some chance anyone was offended by what I said then I apologize sincerely.
Because you immediately assumed a man you read kind things about is gay I was actually making a reference to the "Murphy's Law" effect on life in general...usually it is difficult to find someone who might have traits you'd find appealling and they, too are still looking. Most of the time, as evident in a lot of threads...people are finding people who are no longer looking as they have found someone. I was making a light reference here and seriously considering your reference on your roommate. I actually figured either you made the person up or he wasn't ready to actually meet anyone...either way, you didn't seem serious. I don't appreciate that not once but twice you accused me of assuming and intending something derrogatory about people who are Gay. Maybe you could use a little more timeout.
Nothing at all wrong with being Gay...in fact I defend all people regardless of their sexual preferences...I believe that God created all of us in his own image and therefore has no problems with Gays...although apparently you jumped to the conclusion that I was making a drrogatory statement...what does that say about how you feel towards them? I was merely pointing out that God has a sense of humor...not even really interested in "meeting" someone's roommate who can't do his own fishing...and God's sense of humor presents me from time to time people who I might find interesting but the dating is out of the question because they are not interested in dating females...not because they are Gay and I have anything against them...and perhaps you may see my name on many threads...I think this has happened twice since 4/14/07...but for many days I am not here at all...perhaps you should leave the getting to know someone to the two people involved...
edit: perhaps exercise restraint and just hold some editorial comments inside...we could all benefit from everyone thinking about what they say or type prior to opening their Pandora's Box...
2nd edit: if more people were here in the forums responding then you wouldn't see my name on so many of them. So don't look down upon me for participating in the forums as it was intended...be a part of the solution and either post or ignore the fact that I do post...there is no violation in what I do.

| WHAT'S THE MOST ORIGINAL PICK UP LINE EVER USED ON YOU....THAT WORKED Posted: 12/4/2007 9:24:52 AM | did you get your $25 - dumb questions, right?!
"I bet you have a lot of indian in you - I just love your facial features."
to which I replied, "Do you wanna see my scalping knife?" JUST KIDDING
Actually he was very nice... I danced with him all night - well I mean until the band stopped playing. He turned out to be nice, we exchanged numbers - but I never go to a bar or club to go home with someone. I go to shoot pool, dance and shoot $hit. So would that classify as a pick up line working????

| WHAT'S THE MOST ORIGINAL PICK UP LINE EVER USED ON YOU....THAT WORKED Posted: 2/21/2008 7:24:16 AM | These aren't pick-up lines per se, but since I started my tenure at college, I've found that at parties and various events you can really go up to a girl and say just about anything.
So my friends and I turned this into a game to see who could say the more absurd thing and get a number.
I am currently winning with my main line of "So who's your favorite magician"
other goodies are: "Do you like kung-fu movies?" "Do you like oranges?" "What's your take on salads?" "So, I have cable television..." "Do you have stairs in your house?" "I was this close to being Jesus, if it wasn't for the math portion." "So, you got the internet yet?"
and so on
I went to a frat "Heaven and Hell" party dressed as a nun. A lot of girls kept asking me if I was a brother, I responded "No, clearly I'm a sister" - I got at least 7 numbers.

| WHAT'S THE MOST ORIGINAL PICK UP LINE EVER USED ON YOU....THAT WORKED Posted: 2/22/2008 3:30:39 PM | Lines that I have heard:
"You look so much like Risso in the movie Grease, do you also act like her"?(wink) ...yep, at 21 I did look a lot like her.
"You look like Delta Burke, do you have the same sexy southern accent?"
"Look at your eyes, you can get anything from any man that you want just by looking at him"....I was going into a bar one night, this younger man-I was probably 37, he might have been 22 looked at me as he was walking out and I was walking in, went down on his knees and looking up at me said this to me.
"You have a great pair of twins", want to go home with me and let me entertain them for a while"?
