| What is your favorite fragrance for men to wear? Posted: 6/30/2007 4:04:20 PM | I like Mens Eternity by Estee Lauder, also Drakkar...I have to say I have a strong aversion to POLO by Ralph Lauren but thats b/c when I was in HS half the guys bathed in it. I suppose this is a case where moderation is key. | |

He also wears stetson and wild country. They are all good. Not all fragrances work on everyone. He would just have to spring it on me. If i like the fragrance i will definately tell him. I know a friend of mine that drives truck always smells delicious. I will have to ask his wife what it is. No matter where i am at if i smell that fragrance i love it. As soon as i find out what it is i will post it. Very sexy scent.

I mean it still smelled the same as it always did, but my smeller just got too used to it I guess. I've tried Axe and Tag, to me they're way strong and smell too much like a spray deodorant. Curve seems to work ok, I've gotten compliments on that, but I started using Stetson Black recently and just 2 squirts of that and I can wear the same shirt for a week, lol kidding. My dirty clothes hamper does smell better than it used to since I started using it tho But from the response Joop has gotten on this thread I may have to switch to it when my Steson Black runs out.
Tips for how much and when to apply: I've found it best to aply 1 to 2 sprays about an hour before you meet your date. Make sure you're good and showered up because it doesn't matter what kinda cologne you use nothing actually covers body oder and in my experience nothing smells worse than cologne/parfume and funk. It would actually smell better as just funk so please, for the sake of your date (and anyone NOT stuck in a remote part of the world where soap and running water is scarce) please scrub ya nuts before going out.

I used to date a guy that wore Wild Country deodorant and I loved it. Scent is one of the strongest senses and sometimes a man will walk by me with Romance on and it definately brings back some great memories. I love the natural smell of a man straight from the shower. Fresh and clean and all 'him'.

| What is your favorite fragrance for men to wear? Posted: 4/25/2008 6:19:45 PM | First, I agree with the "in moderation" comments others have made. I can't even stand to be around myself if I use more than 1 spray. With that said, I just used up my Chanel Allure sport. I did not care for the regular Allure, it smelled a fit flowery and feminine to me. My dates have all said they liked it.
I wanted to try something new, so I got Kenneth Cole Black. It is much less sweet smelling, but it also seems to be a lot stronger. That is something I am not too fond of, so I may go back to Allure Sport. In the meantime, I hold it further away from me when I spray to diffuse it.
Note, neither if these are inexpensive, coming in around the $60 range for about 3 1/2 ounces. The biggest difference, I think, between the inexpensive colognes and the higher end products is that the more expensive products use more natural oils and scents. I find that they do not tend to affect my allergies or asthma, where the drugstore splash on stuff literally makes me sick.

Jo Malone makes a nutmeg and ginger cologne for women. If only they would make a mens' version. Spices! Yum!
I'm swooning at the thought.
(Tommy Bahama isn't bad either, as long as it's on the right man.)

And I'm in the minority here because he can bath in it and I would absolutely adore it! In my book, there's no such thing as too strong, or too much. My favorites are Safari by Ralph Lauren, PS by Paul Sebastian, Drakkar, Obsession and Curve. Great cologne just does something to me...always has...always will.

| What is your favorite fragrance for men to wear? Posted: 4/26/2008 9:36:33 AM | I'm just too lazy to begin another thread and risk the ego-destroying prospect of being dissed by people who just don't dig my brand of humanity...so...that being simile'd to death...
Would it be wrong of me to post in the women's thread to state that I enjoy my Armani "Attitude" on certain unmentionable parts of her corpus delectus?

What about Aqua Velva or was that vulva? Anyways...
I personally wear Armani Code (or something like that) and have received lots of complements about it.
I switch each time I finish a bottle just to keep things fresh...I think next time I"ll just stick with something cheap if Old Spice works...why not Axe?

Also, if you find out what kind of cologne her older male relatives wear, be careful with it! I don't want a guy to smell like my Grandpa!!

Posted: 4/26/2008 7:30:27 PM | | lol, i have to agree with helloooo......it's either the fresh showered scent on a man or something that doesn't smell too harsh. i lean towards the soft scented colognes on a guy. sorry, i don't know of any of the names for them but there are some out there.
