Secondly, if by some stroke of unbelievable chance she was to get prgnant, you are pretty much screwed. It does not matter how or why it happened, it is just known that it happened. Unfortunately for you (well and men in general on this issue overall) there is a 100% chance you will have 18 years of paying for her deceit unless there are some very unlikely circumstances (she would have to have no chance of raising the child, as in she is in jail, is a convicted felon of a major crime, or is hospitalized in a mental institution. and even then there are multiple examples of cases where these were not enough to give custody to the man)
In this day and age where women not only want to be equals, but expect to be equals, this is one of those issues they don't mind going back to the archaic days of men being the breadwinners. Most of the time it doesnt matter if she makes more money then you (unless its a very significant amount like shes on wall street your at McDonalds) its the expectation of the courts that the man provides for the child. It normally works the same way with divorces as well if there are children involved.
What this means for you is that you need to take advantage of the situation if a pregnancy did occur. Not only should you be as big of a part of the childs life as possible for their wellbeing, but quite honestly (and this is probably going to come out sounding bad but I'll say it anyways) you need to do it to spite her. The more time you spend with the kid the more leverage you have in the future in the courts. Document everything (sounds callous I know) and eventually they can actually reduce child support payments if you are already spending a significant amount while you are with the child. I would also make sure that since you were never married, she provides documents on her spending on the child. Make sure what you are giving is going to the kid because you technically owe her nothing | |

I've been to 7 different doctors trying to get the procedure done (I never want kids) across 4 different states and i was given basically the same answer:
you must be 30 years old or you must have already had 2 children
I can understand the philosophy a little, but it's frustrating. Even explaining to the doctor that if you were to ever actually want kids that you would adopt got a few chuckles for me from the doctor. They just don't believe you | |

The caller said that he put habanero sauce in his condom afterward because it kills everything on contact. Secondly, habanero sauce by itself is a pretty clear liquid so if a girl were to do that she’d get a big burning surprise. According to the caller I guess he did this and she had to go to the emergency room to be treated for internal burns. I guess this same girl later tried to sue him for damages to her. He counter sued supposedly for defamation of suit and defamation of character plus had charges brought on her at the same time for stealing his sperm out of his condom which was in his trash can still in his home. Supposedly he won his case but new he would never collect the money award to him. Again I have no idea how true this actually is; I tried to find the radio transcript of this but never found it. Thought it was worth telling I found it amusing at the time. | |

In that case,the first thing the guy did was make out a police report with all the vital information just to have a record of it,even though the police were reluctant to do anything but still did it with a lawyer present.Because the guy did use a condom and stated that he didn't want any kids with her knowledge,the lawyer drew up papers indicating these facts and further went on to say that if the baby was born with proper DNA test the father would not be held responsible for support and Welfare would be called in to see what they could do to remove the baby concluding the women was possibly mentally unsatble with evidence as your background and hers would most likely be checked to see who they could believe.From what I remember and this was years ago,the baby was born and it was removed for adoption...the father wasn't held responsible but his fees were high.How this would apply to Candian Laws would be interesting. | |

Takes a tough woman to be emotionally detached after sleeping with a man. Obviously she was acting out of desperation... which isnt healthy either, but in todays world of men who view relationships as badly as you do, its no wonder she acted out of desperation. She probably badly wants a family.
I'm not saying what she did was ethical... she was clearly trying to trap you, and its a bad way to go about getting a man who doesnt want what she does, HOWEVER you should really give better thought, again to sleeping with women for recreational sex.

Husband & wife lived as roomies for 14years. She had the master bedroom and he the basement. When wifey finds condoms in his top drawer..what does she do?? you got it..pulls out her trusty sewing kit and goes to town pricking each condom a hundred times. 5 years later..he has to go to his "roomie wife" and tell her he's now a papa of a little 3yr old girl. She takes him to court and now has alimony.

Sperm mostly don't make it to fertilize, and I don't think time passing and it being in the garbage and then some minutes later she puts them in her you know what would get her pregnant. She must be desperate to have a baby, but the chance of success are rather slim, in my opinion. I agree with the poster above....I think your story above is why I prefer sleeping with a woman I don't mind being the mother of my children, who has a decent IQ, is sane, smart etc....

In most countries-the USA/Canada included-the kid with your DNA is your responsibility...regardless of how the kid got your DNA. If you do not take normal care of your sperm, you are at fault for what happens to/with it...via laws on neglect if nothing else. Failure to exercise 'ordinary care' does not absolve one of guilt incourt. | |

However, given all the advice about flushing the rubber down the toilet... I'm pretty sure those things aren't biodegradable. Only biodegradable stuff should go down the toilet. There's gotta be a better way, like being very careful who you're being intimate with in the 1st place and making certain by asking from time to time if you're both on the same page when it comes to procreation! ie. Don't assume, and don't deceive.
While having sex can lead to procreation, they are not necessarily the same thing.
