The next Silverodo's is March 3 from what I seen in a previous post....
The folks here do get together weekly at Connections for wings, pool and music and dance. Its is a private venue that night for POFers and friends...go to the singles events thread under this Manitoba heading and you can get all the info such as addy and time...but its every Thursday so come on out...

Although certain people don't do tequila..... but I did happen to learn the name of a shooter that I never knew existed thanks to RDC....and the bartender looked at me like I had 3 heads. It must be a transcona special!!!!!!

When I first moved to Mb from Alberta in 98 the first time I asked for a cowboy ***** the bartender looked at me like I was out of my mind. I had to tell him how to make it. Glad to see some other people now know what it is called. Actually to be exact the first bar I went to and asked for that shooter was Silverados. Thank you for the chuckle and the trip down memory lane. | |

I have had a few people ask me if we are going then. So I will post early next week and see if anyone is interested. This will be for the fishies who cannot make it out to Brandon. It won't be as good of a turnout but probably will still be a lot of fun. | |

No doubt, someone will jump in here and help you out, I do know it's on McPhillips at either Jefferson or Leila ...... can't remember that part and I'll back out of this thread now before I get YOU lost.
