Before 1940, pink was the traditional colour for baby boys because it was thought to be vibrant and stimulating. baby girls had to wear blue because it was thought to be calming.

Posted: 1/14/2007 12:21:48 PM | Well, I have only 2 items... One is a T-shirt I got from the CIBC 'Run For the Cure' that has the pink bow logos on it and the other is a short-sleeve cotton light pink shirt. Feels great with a pair of faded denims.
There is the 'making a statement/image is everything' aspect but whatever a person feels comfortable in is the main thing. You feel good...you look good.
Dunno if I'd ever wear any hot pink though... :-o

I don't mind dressing up, but jeans and a t-shirt are what I feel most comfortable in. And my hat is being worn less and less all the time. Sometimes I like to wear my torn jeans and a rock t-shirt, but there are other times when I like to get all "spiffy" when I'm headed out with friends for a night out. Time and place for it all........still not gonna wear pink or buy a red car | |
