It is calm as a babe in slumber and raging like a tempest. It is as vast as the universe and as close as our own skin. Love is peaceful and wages war. It brings forth life, and causes death. It is our greatest gift and our worst nightmare.
It can heal our woes and cause us the most pain. It has inspired our greatest creations and instigated our worst destruction.
Love is the most fickle of emotions. Hate is always hate. Love ebbs and flows like Giant Sea Kelp with the tides.
Love to all of you, in the best of it's form.

It is food for poets and fodder for those scorned by it. It is a riddle wrapped up in an enigma. A gift, a loss, a joy, a sorrow, a never ending, enduring hope.
It is what we all seek, yet fear most. To give of oneself so wholly, so completely, without guarantee is something, I think, we all embrace with great great concern.
I have loved often and without condition. Most have not repaid my love in the way I would wish. Yet still I love them with all of my heart. 30 years, or more, I have loved, though their faces I have not seen in most of those years.
What is love??? As for me, it is forever! | |

At least that is what Steve Martin says. I'm sure there is much more to love then what Steve Martin said. For example he left out mink cuffs etc.

Beyond that is only the quality of the particular love.
One has to decide for themselves whether the love someone has for them is good or not.
People want things in their lives for different reasons.
Sometimes those reasons are not good.
There is such a thing as bad love.
It is possible to love many different people because all people are different.
Just because someone loves you doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing. | |

Only someone who is truly in love can understand the power of love.
The best description that can be given for this feeling of love is
"you'll understand it when you experience it."
Apart from this, there are no words that can be used to accurately describe love.
