I don't mind it, unless we're in public. It's irritating when she lifts up my arm and starts nuzzling for fresh musk. | |

Posted: 1/14/2007 8:51:01 PM | I love the natural smell of a lady and some of the less powerful, less sharp scents. Lots of perfumes that fit that description smell great on a woman, but some women have a natural smell to them that just smells intoxicatingly good. Some of them just have that natural "get over here" scent to them that is better than any perfume I've ever smelled.
My last girlfriend used to think it was funny because I'd tell her that she smells great even when she didn't wear perfumes. | |

Im glad to hear alot of males prefer au natural.
I have super sensitive sense of smell.
Honestly...?.
most people make me feel like gagging, the overwhelming
amount of unnatural scents, all mixed and reeking.
Lord above, i get a bitter taste in my mouth from 5 feet away.
Brutal.
I use a mineral stone as a deodorant, it has next to no scent,
smells alil salty to me, But only when you first out it on.
I may use a tiny touch essential oils on occasion.
I doubt others can even pick up on any hint of the scent
over their mind fogging smorgasbord of layered smells they are sporting.
But i wear it for me, so thats perfect.
Grapefruit is my fav, i have a thing for the smell of citrus.
perfume and Colone are wayyyyy over rated in my book. | |

But, like most guys here - natural is best.
Besides, if her and I use the same shampoo or soap, they always smell better on her. | |

That being said... as long as it is not lavender and perferably if it is clean smelling (like Ivory soap) then that is good! | |

I have a fairly good sense of smell, and I find it very repulsive when people smell like old, stale sweat, or feces. I usually run into at least one person a day I can smell feces on...it's disgusting.
Really strong perfumes are bad, too. | |

I gave her some and she took it home and poured it on her stuffed Eyeore.
B@stard gets more than me now! That's ok. Little 'ol Gloomy Gus will get his come uppance soon enough. I've noticed of late that when he sees her, the smile seems more fixed on his face, less natural and easy going. And his eyes have a hint of that rolling terror you normally associate with horses caught in a barn fire. Poor buddy. He's startin' to be threadbear. Perhaps he is headed for a nervous breakdown? | |

However when I was a teen and the hormones were kicking in (mid 70's) All the girls were wearing musk and it did drive me wild then. I can still smell the fragrance should a woman wear it today. Vanilla is nice as well.
But you gotta remember one thing. No one wants to smell you a mile away.
A woman should wear just a small touch of it on those hidden places, not for all men to smell, just a hint for the person who she will allow to get that close and intimate to her. That should be the only time you can smell a perfume. For me it's like hunting, (not that I hunt) But if I can pick up a scent behind her ear. I will follow that scent and pick up any other places that she may have dabbed it.
You don't want to attract a man from across the room.
Too many women, and men, wear so much of it that when you get 10-50 people wearing different colognes or perfumes in a bar, restaurant etc. No wonder people get sick, it's enough to gag a magot. | |

Otherwise, I'd have no idea what anything is called. I will say that a slight scent is preferable to smelling like you jumped into a tub of the stuff. I worked in an office with a woman who wore a very powerful scent. It was so strong some days that I thought she got dressed and then jumped into a tub of the stuff.
If it makes you feel more feminine, great. OTOH, when it's burning my olfactory sensors, it's definitely a turn off for me. | |

It's pretty rare now for a woman to walk by and to get that wonderful smell of perfume. It may sound wierd but my favourite part of going to the bar back in the day was all the perfume in the air as the gilrs walked by. | |

Like its over powering (usually the seemingly sophisticated professional woman perfumes). I like subtle smell, vanilla is always good, even just fruit smelling body sprays. There is a certain scent that some girls wear and its like instant attraction when I smell it. Even when I am not attracted to girl at first, I am drawn into the scent and that brings up my attraction to the girl. I don't know what it is though. If I did, Id tell you. I can't even describe it because its not like anything else I can relate it to. | |

Posted: 10/21/2007 2:15:28 AM | | Lancome made one called Magi Noir, its been pulled out of production , its supposed to be repackaged and reintroduced, I find Magi Noir to be the most beautiful and arousing scent on a woman. Another hard to find scent is the original perfume available at Tiffany they usually have the newer ones that I'm not thrilled by. original Tiffany is more mature, a little soapy, more matronly, none the less it's almost as biochemically as dangerous. | |

Saves me $$ on perfumes.. and I'm nice and soft. | |
