Girl, you wear whatever is comfortable. Just not the boys 'lacey' (wtf is THAT?) shorts. Not like a guy is gonna see until you get home with him--and if he's gone that far he isn't going to really care what you're wearing underneath. Except the lacey (!) boys shorts. I hope.
You make 2 good points.
The first, I'm going to ruin. I remember a girl I went to high school with. She always wore briefs. (And often a tank top and maybe some BDUs or cargos or something.) I have no idea why she wore those briefs, or if she bought them herself, or whatever. But she often stuck her hand down her pants/waistband Al Bundy style.
She also was filthy, in mind and language, and not afraid to get dirty.
But, she's not someone I would call a lesbian or a tomboy. Actually, she was quite effeminate, contrary to how I just described her. I don't know what it was, but it was sexy as hell.
Maybe it was the briefs.
(These days, she's married and VERY effeminate. And I think the last time I saw her, she was wearing panties.) She was still attractive, but not in the same way. Too classy. Maybe I like 'em a bit militant. Or, maybe it was because I was 17. Not sure.
Onto the second point, I agree with you. On the daily basis, it doesn't matter unless the pants are coming off, and when the pants come off, it doesn't matter. (Unless there's some kind of Forrest Gump leg brace thing going on with them or something.) If you're trying to be sexy for a guy, then yes, the answers here are good.
It's kind of like that old argument of why guys ask, Why wear sexy underwear if no one is going to see them?

I agree... I also have a large butt, and my bf loves it just the way it is. Doesn't matter what I wear on it, he still loves it. I can wear anything from the granny panties to a thong or anything inbetween, and he is still turned on by them. It is the ass not the panties that the bf should be interested in.
