Well, with great regret, I have to back out of the event tonight...my dog is pretty sick right now, and I don't want to leave her, so I'm taking her to the vet this afternoon and will miss my flight.

Thanks for an absolutely awesome event....unbelievable really! The food, the tour, the dancing, the laughs, the company! For all of you that signed up and didn't show up, you missed a heck of a great time. Billards and BCboy, you guys rock! hats off to you both for an awesome job, best St. Patty's I have had in years.
Hope to see you all at one of our Kamloops events!

I did manage to make the brunch though, at which I recognized practically NO one.
Um, hello? We've met before. You git... which I learned this weekend actually means a pregnant camel. Thank you Soulfishy's English butler.
Lots of beer was drank, some dancing was done I think, there were some Loopians who went home at midnight (ahem... lame-o... go ahead scottishlass, let him have it), some Loopians who went home later, and some who didn't make it to our hotel until noon the next morning. Surprisingly, there was no "pick your poison" rounds at the bar, we saved those for the lunch at Kelly O'Brians. And, as is par for the course with us, the drives there and back are some of the funniest times you can have. I had an awesome time, so thanks BcBoy and Billiard_baby for setting that all up. We should do it again soon.  | |

There was beer all over the floor this morning. A hose came loose under the tower. Fantastic! Brewery smelled even more like beer than ever!
Tons of food left over....the brewers will be pleased with that!....i'm eating pizza as I type as a matter of fact.....
I would love to do this again. Great group. Nothing but laughs and good times. We'll have to plan another one sometime soon. All you yahoos who didn't make it, can come to the next one.

And many many thanks to Secret Girl for once again taking care of me and getting me back to the hotel safely. She even held my hand to get my drunk ass accross the street..hehe...or was that to make sure the dumbass following me didn't steal my shirt? I dunno. Anyway, thanks hun...you're the best.
It was great meeting so many awesome people both at the brewery and at Flashbacks. Had so much fun...we'll have to do it again soon. I hope some of you can make it to one of the Kamloops pool nites.

Posted: 3/19/2007 7:00:31 PM | | That's a Fairy Princess to you all. Poof, you're all frogs. That just means I'll have to kiss you all to turn you all back. Well some of you anyhow. I was doing fairly well untill it would appear that most of the bar chose to play pick your poison for me. There was about 6 shot's in less than 2 minutes. Things started down the slippery slope at that point. About all I was capable for Sunday was sitting in my parents back yard in the lawn chair soaking up the sun. Thanks to all the 'loopers for all the party favors. I was very popular for the rest of the evening. It was good to see some new faces. Great to see some from the distant past, and so good to get my arms around those who know who they are. | |
