This is exactly why you need reliability in a person!
They wouldn't get a 2nd chance to do this again with me LOL

What's with this damned text messaging?! What happened to the good old fashioned way of asking a girl out...on the phone?

Test messaging makes me suspicious. Why couldn't their conversation be on the phone? Where was he when they were texting?

And, I'm not a guy so I'm not claiming to be an expert on this but since when does a guy choose to go hiking with the guys over a ride on his Harley with a girl?

I give up.

When you both say its date. Even if you both meet someplce and one person was there to hang out, the other thinking its a date, then one person is let down when they find out. Both people have to know its a date to be one.

I'd say she was his "if all else fails" plan. I don't know if the built in time lag was significant, but it is consistent with him trying to make other plans.

Sorryjshe had to deal with that.

I'm with you on this one! I'm not into that whole text messaging thing on phones and he was constantly sending me text msgs. Made me wonder too...

I'm all about the old fashioned way. This technology is good to a point but I'm tired of all these buttons to push to get a man's attention. To heck with that!

[The word that comes to my mind is W.O.S. - waste of sperm]

^^^ So would T.W.O.S. (TOTAL waste of sperm) be included in that? too funny....

lack of communication, always better to arrange a date by talking on the phone not texting, less chance of misunderstandings then.

That was a definite date

He's full of it. And hes flaky. Plus the "whatever" would have been enough for me to give him the flick for ever- plain arrogant and rude. Surely she can do better?

I say he blew her off for sure, if she was really important to him, he wouldn't have went hiking instead.

I have had a girl tell me a couple time that she wanted to see me again, we would agree on a time and date and all that, then she would push the time back once or twice, or promise to call later on when she gets home.
Then i don't hear anything from her until the next day, shes all sorry for not calling, or giving me some stupid excuse how she forgot to call!

Then the exact same thing happened the next night also!! And it was even her idea to get together!
DAMN THAT PISSES ME OFF, SOMEONE PROMISE'S TO DO SOMETHING LIKE PHONE OR SHOW UP AT A SET TIME AND THEN NOT EVEN PHONE UNTIL A DAY LATER!!!

Why do people make promises, they can't or won't keep??

If i say i will call or go see her, it gets done exactly when i said it would! NO EXCUSES

Hmmmmmmm..... I am not so sure he blew her off...think more like nothing was set in stone but more scribbled in the sand....he was probably just thinking out loud and putting the idea out there...he said he would call later and he did....think he would have followed up....but she was thining earlier... to him he went hiking inbetween and called when he was then ready to meet up...he is guily of losing track of time though... a couple hours usually means two last time I checked a dictionary.
