You are soooo right! Everyone seems to be spinning the negative back on me even when I say something positive. But just what is this thread about?? NEGATIVITY! I see most of you l have hatred & contempt for your ex's
I'll probably get t___ from tat again on this one... but who cares?
I still speak & and consider myself friends to 3 of the 4 Ex GF's I have had, they have been somewhat of a blessing in my life & don't regret being with any of them! I may be sad it's over but happy it was with all of them. Where these men/women in your live gave & bore your precious children & you still have hatred towards them... why? I don't understand. Did you think perhaps it was partally your faults of your failed marriages & breakups? Some of you seem quite scary, that I'm surprised you have such a loyal following.
Why write a song about it? get over it, there are bigger issues at hand. | |

Posted: 5/21/2007 10:14:21 PM | For a young man you sound pretty wise and your outlook on life is good. Hatred gets you no-where.
But many of these people including me have deep hurts, that don't dissapate quickly. I have learned about and applied forgiveness.
It is the only remedy for Hatred. I doesn't mean you forget. But hatred eats at your heart and makes you bitter. Origianally I was going to put my song down as "Jailhouse Rock" for both ex husbands. But one is dead, and one is dying, so what is the use? I pray for them and wish them well. That is the only way I can live with myself and keep a positive attitude. To get to that point is not difficult , but a decision you make to forgive them. Then you go on with your life. Perhaps the song
" Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me"
Would be more appropriate.
