Jon Bon Jovi gets better looking as he gets older and the song he sang last night.....wonderful.....I was sad to see Phil and Chris go last night but they sure went out with flying colors....the songs they sang were perfect and really good. I think it will be Lakisha that goes next and I hope Jordon gets to be American Idol but it is only because I think Blake and Melinda will do well/better out on their own contracts. JMHO | |

Jordan should be fine, irrespective of Simon. But Blake had a really bad night. I get he wants originality, but man! If you don't connect not just with your fans but about 15,000,000 other Americans you are doomed. Save the big "I must be me." untill later...lol.
Anyway. Seems the judges have been steering for a showdown between Doolittle and Lakisha since the top 13. They may get it. Might even be great. Then the season will be over and the winners will drift away like Fantino and The Velvet Teddy Bear. Gone from the great public concious. Too bad. At least Blake would have been original, and Jordan has the adaptability and youth to fill concert venues.

I have this feeling Idol is loosing it's excitement - they really have to change things up next year to make it exciting!!

laskreetchsha had my vote only once the entire competition (when she sang the song from dreamgirls) but other than that, i think she was out-sung/performed each time by either jordan/melinda and in one case, gina.

jordan was hot,,as always...especially the last song,,and she looked beautiful too..
blake/blake..oh blake,,,maroon 5 song,,he was definately hot...
but my guess will be,,,

Posted: 5/16/2007 5:39:52 AM | Well i thought tonight i would give it a try and watch it ,well i strapped myself feet first to the ceiling fan ,put on some ear muffs and just spun around for the whole hour .I must say i trully enjoyed it ,the ride that is not the show .I was going so fast around in circles that i could not see nor here any of it and then the damn ceiling fan let go from the cieling and flung me right out of my bedroon window ,after spinning through the air and going down 3 stories i landed on a very jagged fence post head first ,now that really hurt ,i was impaled on that post for several minutes until a severe bolt of lightning struck me from the big thunderstorm we were having and knocked me clean off the post and right on to the road where a couple of oncoming trucks could not see me for the rain and ran right over my head ,well to say the least it was time for another trip to the hospital .After getiing several hundred stitches and several broken bones reset ,the doctors advised me to just give up trying to watch the show and just wait for all you lovely fine people to tell me who wins ,who would have thought i could just do that and save myself all this pain and expense .so i will be looking each week to see who wins so i won't buy anything they ever produce for fear of nightmares .............Lets go Sanjaya ........wooooooooooo hooooooooooo................... | |

Blake goes home because women will vote for men and women often but men are more likely to vote for women. Just a guess. Barring really sucky performances or the odd act of divine intervention like Sanjaya lasting as long as he did.
So Blake goes home tonight. Then Melinda wins makes one record and dissapears into obscurity and Jordan may eventually make it big after she is taken advantage of on several record deals by her manager father who will run off with half her money a-la Leanne Rimes or some such nonsense...
Still, it's all a guess.

The other 2 are great also just not my style. So good luck to all. But the Sens play tonight so i definatly wont be seeing who gets eliminated till tomorrow. So many the best man/woman win!=) | |

Melinda? Well she does have a voice but ummm what was up with that forced raspy sound she was trying on in order to mimic Tina Turner? Whatever happened to "making the song yours"? And when she's singing she does that half begging, half beatty eye thing and I just wanna tie Ryan, Simon's and Randy's boxers in knots and smack the look right off her face!! I know a bit drastic, but ARGH I can't stand it!
Blake is a good singer, I love him, but he does better with some sounds and not so good with others, he's not as versatile.
