Posted: 1/18/2007 6:42:47 PM | I loved the hairstyling freak that wanted to "fix" Simon's hair. That was hilarious, with security running right up to him. 
Did you all see Rosie O'Donnell go off on the show on The View? Man, like she doesn't whine enough already!
Although I do think Paula was a tad tipsy during the first show...
All of the people they bring on to audition sign a legal document before they appear that states they might be used on the show, no matter how good or bad they are, or what the judges say to them.
Whether they think they're good or not, all the contestants are adults, or have parents/guardians with them that are adults, and have signed that paper. It's their choice if they want to be seen as a fool.
I, for one, enjoy watching them.
I did love the brother/sister, the giraffe-girl, and the 16 year old with the strong, mature voice. | |

I totally agree, I think one of the siblings is gonna go very far on this show, the brother was the better one, personality wise, but they are both good singers, and nobody knows how America will vote, after all they did vote Chris Daughtry off!! 
Hopefully we get some good talent out of this one, not that we havent before, but I am looking forward to see what happens this time, I want some more rocker guys.  | |

Posted: 1/19/2007 10:00:10 PM | I have to admit, if I had seen any of these people in person at a karaoke night or an audition(eg: "cowardly lion" or "bush baby"), maybe I would have a hard time suppressing a giggle or two. But does anyone else think Idol is really starting to sink to lower standards with its outright cruelty? There's rarely ever been any constructive criticism on this show to begin with, but it's getting insane now. Who wants to watch this train wreck anymore? 3 "professionals" in the music industry (one who's probably half-cut by breakfast, one totally in love with himself and one who seriously needs to expand his vocabulary), and a bunch of mis-informed individuals who think they have what it takes to be the next Idol is not my idea of good television. It got boring 5 seasons ago. I'd rather watch flies f*** on the Discovery Channel!

I LOVE the beggining even more than the actuall top 10 part!
The suck so bad it's awesome!
Every once in a while the show will air 'A Good Voice' in each city to show there still is talent out there, but for the most part they show the rejects!
That's the part I love!
I love it so much i even tape it on VCR and record it on 'puter with video card.
Putting them all onto DVD for funsies!
This week there was that one chick near the middle hour, "I can't sing I know, but I would be the first Idol who made it that couldn't!"
She was THE BEST!

Posted: 1/25/2007 3:58:06 AM | Tonight, I loved the weird gay guy with the thick New York accent that was putting Simon down. He was hilarious.
Orgasm chick was just scarey. I have no idea what she was doing up there.
I liked the cute black adopted guy, the Justin Timberlake guy, and the two pretty girls who were best friends. I agreed with the judges on them. The untrained girl was much better than her friend!
And the rocker chick who lost all the weight for the audition! Her voice was amazing! Very Joplin-esque!
Oh, and last night, I LOVED the backup singer, and the big guy with the amazing voice, who's dad had the #1 hit back in the 50's. I hope they go to the top ten!
It was also great to see the guy who bowed out last year back. Lets hope he can learn his lines this year! | |

Posted: 1/25/2007 10:52:47 AM | Absolutely hilarious and entertaining - I love crazy people and most of all I love talented people - so for me all the way through from the first show to the end is very funny!!! I missed Tuesday nights 'cause of Hammer night, but Wed. made up for it!!!!
The people who are insulted and seemingly humiliated have signed a waiver to allow themselves to be put on TV and some of the crazies get way more than their 15 mins fame out of thier adventures so - be it!!! | |
