Posted: 2/1/2007 9:08:13 AM | | I have to admit the older man who auditioned - in memory of his wife who had just passed - certainly brought a lump to my throat. He had a pretty good voice for an older guy, I bet he was quite the "Robert Goulet" type in his younger years. I was certainly left thinking however, how wonderful it would be, to find a love as strong and longlasting as the affection he obviously held for his wife. *sigh* | |

the back up singer for aguilera was REALLY good. he should last a while if not to the end.

LOVE how she tried to pass as 26!!! That chick disturbed me. Very strange to say the least.
I really enjoy this part of American Idol. This is my first time watching Idol in the auditions.
I'm not watching it for the best singer, i'm watching it in awe of the twits that show up on there just to get on tv | |

On a serious not this show seems to be more about crappy singers and how Simon the idiot Cowell can rip them apart and degrade them more than what it was originally supposed to be.
My theory on this is that the regular singers are so god awful they have to put these even worse singers on to make them seem half decent,and to get the ratings that these legitimate singers cant bring in.

Sounded an awful lot like Chris Daughtry doing the "Going Home" song with the reflections to the ones that left didn't it? I do believe he was also voted out, but yet shone while what's his name won. What was that guys name again?lol.... | |

As for Antonella Barbarosa..
Why would they kick her off the show for having boobies pics.
I thought it was American Idol.. the next American singing sensation.... everyone has a past.. but that shouldn't preclude you for being able to sing.. which should be the ONLY criteria.
