And I don't have to part with the price of a licence to even feel obliged. 'Tis far more entertaining have the "Big Brother" TV Licence people trying to catch me. Isn't TV suppose to provide entertainment? Sounds like you all need to be getting refunds!  | |

The 3 girls treatment of Shilpa is nothing short of disgusting, thankfully she has never lowerewd her standards to retaliate.
Although those 3 girls are definately bullying the poor woman i dont know whether i wouild say they are being racist, i have yet to hear a comment that i feel constitues to racism although alledgedly Jack called her a P**i.
That said i do think that they are ignorant of shilpas culture and her background hence why they are making the comments that they are, i do believe that it is down to a lack of knowledge and understanding and down right ****ing!! I also feel that they may feel threatened by her and may even be jealous or her.

I think most of the 'racial complaints' will be from non-indians that includes other types of asians who believe we are somehow connected by a continent.

Nothing has been said about the stuck up Z list Bollywood actress's snide remarks about Jermain and the Goody's.
Its 6 of one and half a dozen of the other and the only reason that anyone is jumping on the moral bandwagon is because she is Indian.
Kinky Commando's quote is exactly right....had a white person said that it was going to be impoissible to live in the same house etc................ Then the Political Correctness brigade would have jumped all over it and there would have been thousands of complaints because it would have been seen that a white person was objecting to blacks and asians.
Its time to grow up.......let them sort it out themselves. And what ever happened to anyone being able to have an opinion.

I think it is how you interpret this comment as to how you take it…. I took it as her saying that because her culture is so different to that of a person living in England, differences would arise and lets face it she was correct. I don’t feel that this was a racist comment. And yes, if a white person had said the same thing my opinion would remain the same. It is, in my opinion a statement that has been taken out of context however everyone is entitled to their views and I respect the views of the others who have commented on this thread (even if I don’t agree with them)
Mad chick: just to let you know that in Asian and African culture it is considered normal to eat certain foods with your hands, it has nothing to do with manners or lack of them.
Oh and when Jermaine Jackson called Jades mum white trash nobody batted so much as an eyelid

Goodness knows what damage those hideous women have done across the globe with there vile behaviour and it is racist, its disgraceful.
Shilpa is a beautiful very class lady, and I am glad to see she is treating those bullies with the contempt they deserve.

I think that Jade Goody is a loud mouthed, brash, thoughtless, uneducated, unpleasant b!tch, who has a very very low IQ, and is incapable of even the most basic social skills, logic and reason. She showed all of this in her first appearance in BB, four years ago.
I think that Shilpa Shetty is a beautiful woman, who is used to the adoration and admiration of her fans, and her entourage. She expects respect, and is sometimes condescending and patronising to those she feels are 'below' her.
It seems evident to me that THIS is the stumbling block between these two women. They wouldn't spend more than five minutes in each others company in the outside world.
Jo and The Wag? Obviously dim, witless, and under the spell of their 'hero' Jade.
Jack? Who? What's the point of him?
As for their 'careers' being finished when they get out - Jade has made millions out of being just what she is being now...... | |

However, these 'puerile arguments' are raging not only here but in our parliament, and in India, too!
TV programmes like this DO bring to light social issues, and though their method is questionable, the fact that these issues is being discussed is, for sure, a good thing.
