| Has anyone else taken Apple cider vinegar & felt great? Posted: 3/25/2007 12:53:19 PM | | I've been drinking a shot of Braggs organic apple cider vinegar for years as per my naturpathoics recommendation - Recently (I posted today, in fact), I have discovered GT's raw, organic Kombucha tea. It is full of enzymes, probiotics and detoxifiers. It is fermented and has a vinegar-type tast - bit the benefits are worth passing on - Kombucha supports many things, including digestion, metabolism, immune system, appetite control, liver function, body alkalinity, anti-aging, cell integrity and healthy skin & hair. I have two friends that drink it regularly - one has Crones disease and is in remission after several months and I have a friend who has hep C and says Kombucha has made an amazing difference as far as his symptoms....I drink it reguarly and have never felt better!! | |

You can buy both of these at your local grocer. Well...I got the books and the only reason I would think that Kevin might be laughing .....is at the thought of all of these people that are of average working class that probably can not afford the book...but get it anyway...only to find out that the "secret" to keeping the weight off is a persciption that you have to get from a Doctor of HGC...oh...and he had to go to Germany to get his because there are not many Doctor's in the U.S. that will perscribe it for weight loss. Then to top it off ...he list 50 things that you must do in order to follow the protocol. Among this list are several herbs/vitamins...well I took the next step...and priced them out...$500.00 just for the herbs and that is just a two month supply. Let's see a plane ticket to Germany...plus the herbs ...and I did not even add up the cost of the other 40 things to do. Yep...after a couple of days of stewing...I came to realize that even though I had been scamed with the "protocol" talk...there is still ALOT of valuable information in these books and I am going to try the ACV and the coconut oil just to see....I'll let you know. ...Here's to better Health...!!

Know why because it helps to alkalyse your body's ph which a lot of the times can get too acidic due to the foods we eat and exercise also causes this so you need to alkalize your body after exersizing or after working long hours and you feel draggy try the apple cider vinegar and honey in water for a quick pick me up.

| Has anyone else taken Apple cider vinegar & felt great? Posted: 7/11/2007 8:40:46 AM | Have never even looked at Mr. Trudeau's book , but I've seen his infomercials. I don't see how buying apple cider vinegar at the supermarket is making him rich....... You can find advice on this and other natural remedies (as opposed to the often useless, vastly overpriced and potentially harmful chemical crap your doctor prescribes you because he's in some mulinational conglomerates' backpocket) in many books, on many websites, or just ask your grandma.......
I don't think vinegar tastes bad (any variety), if you want a natural remedy that truly tastes horrible, try grapefruit seed extract (liquid). It is bitter enough to literally curl your toes.......

Help me understand how one can test their bodies ph level? The ph level in the blood is a very very sensitive mechanism. Only minor fluctuations are deadly.

All that would tell you would be the ph of your urine....how does that matter?

The body has multiple checks and balances to keep blood pH within a specific range. Urine pH only becomes abnormal when you have overwhelmed these checks and balances, or when you have certain kidney diseases.

It is supposed to help blood sugar levels if eaten daily, as well as helping to somewhat moderate blood glucose levels and appetite. It is great on oven fries (potato wedges sprayed with cooking spray, baked at 375-425 and then dip them in vinegar) also great to mix up 1 cup vinegar 1 or 2 cucumbers, sliced onion, 1 cup water, pinch salt, pinch pepper, pimch paprika - let marinate for about a half hour in refrigerator - great low cal summer snack/salad! If you like hot mix - you can add a hungarian hot wax pepper with seeds as well as putting in red pepper, celery, cauliflower. Nice for those watching their sodium.

I use it for cleaning.
The vinegar breaks down the calcium deposits that rabbits leach uncontrollably :( and the Apple Cider vinegar doesn't smell as bad as regular vinegar.
I tried making a salad dressing from it once, gross.

| Has anyone else taken Apple cider vinegar & felt great? Posted: 7/12/2007 8:59:25 PM | So... I bought some today... tomorrow will be my first dose. Couldn't find the 'Bragg' brand... bought Heinz. Gonna start out with a TBSP mixed with cold decaf green tea. (Arizona brand... it's great!!) Being a vinegar lover anyway, I'm going to substitute it for white vinegar. I use vinegar on fish, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, O&V dressings, poached eggs.
I'm hoping for two things by starting this ... the first is that I notice a significant change in "something" (anything?)... the second is that I can stomach it!!

Posted: 7/15/2007 9:02:32 PM | I am happier with pineapples and apples than pickled foods, anything with vinegar in it makes me kinda sick feeling. There is just no way I'm going to drink diluted vinegar ! I dont care if I could live to 200 by drinking it !

| Has anyone else taken Apple cider vinegar & felt great? Posted: 7/18/2007 12:42:57 AM | I found a recipe for what is called "Miracle Tea". Morning and Evening I fix this recipe in a coffee mug and adapted it to my needs:
One packet of Stevia Plus (dissolve in about 1/4 inch of hot water before adding any other ingredients, the Plus gives extra fiber) Add: approx 2 tsp each of apple cider vinegar and honey (I just pour from the containers) One tea bag any flavor: am--I usually use a black tea, pm--herb, green or white tea without caffeine Fill the cup with cool tap water Microwave for one minute 30 seconds, depending on the wattage
Note: With the apple cider vinegar added to the tea, I find that even if it cools off it's still good to drink. This concoction is supposed to be good for a lot of ailments, including arthritis. If you search for uses of vinegar, it will bring up many uses.

| Has anyone else taken Apple cider vinegar & felt great? Posted: 7/18/2007 10:22:10 AM | Nothng new here. Loyalist Canadians have been pouring the stuff on their french fries for years.
It really helps cut the grease. Far tastier than white vinegar. and fewer calories than Poutine.
I couldn't believe that people as close as Michigan had never thought of putting vinegar on their fries. American tea! Yech!!! It still tastes like you just fished it out of Boston Harbour. Pity.
You tasteless Americans don't know what your missing on your Freedom Fries!!!!
Then again the really classy people of North America left for Canada after the Revolution. +( ;-P)))))

| Has anyone else taken Apple cider vinegar & felt great? Posted: 8/10/2008 5:47:04 AM | My Letter to Kevin:
Congratulations...you have scammed yet another innocent citizen, a senior citizen living on social security at that!!!
My mother ordered your "book" for $75.00 to get two "free" books.Upon receiving the books, we find out out that your big "secret" to weight loss is a shot that you can not even get in the United States....!!The Stop smoking CD was ordered for $15.00 only to find out you have to go buy a book to find out the "secret" to that..How in the hell do you sleep at night Kevin Trudeau???
Now, that we are over that 'rip off scam', come to find out now "YOU" are charging my mother's credit card monthly for your 'worthless' newsletter that was NEVER asked for...!!! She has tried to call the 800 number to clear this up only to be told that is the wrong number or some BS.
I promise you, if you do not call my mother Ms. ______ within two days at 770-***7-**** to have this charge removed for the last few months, YOU will have "another" law suit on your ass so fast that you won't have time for any more scams , You are a liar and scam artist that is getting rich off of senior citizens and the like. You should be ashamed of yourself and all that are involved with your scam..!! Just remember Karma is a ****!
