Posted: 2/1/2007 8:21:40 AM | Standing in line at the grocery store a year or so ago, listening to these two girls talking about how pissed off they get when bands do remakes of the originals. They were talking about the classic 'Satisfaction" and how this band of old guys totally ripped of Britney Spears of her song, and how shite like that just sucks and there should be a law...
Same line, looking around seeing that it was all balding men or Silverbacks that found this very funny. And realizing I was one of them. One of THEM..
I have a hard time staying up until the bars close ( or much past about 12.30) unless I get an afternoon nap in...
When you are at the store waiting for the wife to come out, got Judas Priest, Steve Miller or classic Zeplin playing ... loud of course because those groups weren't meant to be listened to in moderation ... and having kids come over, say the music's pretty cool (of course!) and asking if the groups are new! Umm... no... go look in your dad's vinyl album collection and you'll find them..... sigh...

I'm 23 and now i hate it, i can't stand clubs and i'm starting to dislike teenagers even though i was one not so long ago. i'm 23 for gods sake, i feel like i'm 40. | |

When I'm delivering training events and I talk about a piece of legislation which came into force in 1983 and the people I'm delivering to have never been affected by the previous piece of legislation.
And another thing is when I'm listening to Happy New Year by Abba, and they sing the lyrics
"Its the end of a decade
In another ten years time
Who can say what we'll find
What lies waiting down the line
In the end of eighty-nine..."
Which means that when they sang it it was the end of 1979 - that's nearly 30 years ago! | |

Posted: 2/2/2007 3:45:41 PM | I get accused of that. But Ive been doing it since I was 18. The only difference now is that i stand outside my door and shake my head at them and they won't attack me because now I'm a 'mister'.
I do, however, prefer to sit down in nightclubs and bars/pubs. Back in my prime I never sat down. | |

I start to get tired around 10pm,
I moan that the kids make a mess, draw on the walls
I sing while I clean,
saying "OOOh am dying for a cuppa tea"
I am only 24!!
But I do still get asked for ID for alcohol,
into night clubs, if am out partying hangovers aint bad, I can drink gallons of fizzy juice, love disney films(dont think they ever lose their magic tho, do they?)
Still CRY at disney films lol
so am still kinda young too! | |
