I moved to michigan in 86 and was back last week to interview wish i would have found this site before i left Mich or Phoenix all the places I used to go are all gone I was told. so I sat around just talking to my brothers. So I will be there in a few weeks and I am hoping to find a pof party there sometime soon. been to a couple here in Michigan and it is a good way yo meet people. So all have a great day and I will be there soon.

most of the time, i cant get an exact confirmed date on when bands are playing at steelhorse -until the night of the show -however if michael and his band are playing -i will most likely be there. he's a great performer and a good sport and likes to mingle with the crowd -seen him fill in for a missing band member in another band to save their show. his band puts out some great music, and lots of wild antics on stage... could be fun...

My friend dated Michael a looooong time ago, and likes to sit close to the stage so we can see the band playing and chat with him during breaks. We'll try to be there around 8:30 or so to get a table.

Posted: 6/22/2007 7:26:24 PM | There is no cover or dress code at the steelhorse saloon, blue jeans and t-shirts will fit right in. -its very casual, friendly bartenders and crowd -bring your own little group of friends and have a blast. -there is a dennys down the road at I-17/bell if you get hungry afterwards (quite a crazy place after midnite)
One more thing i had a great time at JOES GROTTO last night. HIGH STRUNG was playing all night. i was only suppose to go for 1 drink... ended up staying until 1am. -not good since i had to get up at 6am. I dont know how many times i gave Joe high 5's but he started looking annoyed -oh well i can apologize on tuesday (always something going on there mid week. I promised everyone i saw, i would be at the THE BLOOZE tonight for PHAT BA$TARD. -sure i can talk them into STEELHORSE on saturday.

Posted: 7/5/2007 10:16:35 PM | I wasn't insulting the person who posts about Joe's Grotto. I was just saying that hey...there are other places, and other sides of the Valley frankly. We need to get people from all areas posting about their favorite joints so there are options for people who aren't 45 minutes from Joe's Grotto.
Next time Evolocity is playing there, though, you should definitely check them out. I'm very familiar with local bands, but I've never heard of the ones posted here, so it just shows there are a lot of different genres and types of live shows to see in the Valley. | |
