Finally I figured it was time to leave when Skeeter (I think it was Skeeter...maybe it was Cleetus...the one with the REALLY bad breath...anyway) said "Looks like we got us a sow here instead of a boar." It was at that point I demanded to be untied from the tree.
Think I'll pass and wait for the comic book collectors Dungens and Dragons, bring your own chips & pop party. I heard Earl is bringing a dirty magazine! | |

what was left of the animal was tasty as all get out and it made for great stories!!

Posted: 4/21/2007 12:30:20 PM | Ok, guys. Here is the scoop so far. I been dealt a big nasty blow in the home renovations department. So I am gonna be very busy, trying to pull everything off in time for this date. The date may change! (MAYBE) We where trying to beat the bugs, but they are out already. 
My buddie and I where not planning on charging for the piggie, but we are having a hard time finding about the porta-potties and there costs. I will get to everyone on that.
So I think pot luck is a great idea. Now I know, not everyone can cook or make something, so I have another idea. For those bring Fireworks!!!! . I just hope there is no open fire bans in place. Also there is lots of paper products needed and can drinks, and a few other things that I can't think of at the moment
We have room for easy 60 tents and campers, poor little lawn tractor has been going all week,lol.
Next major problem is making mass amounts of coffee, in the morning. Now remember, no hydro, no power of any kind,no running water. Any ideas out there?????? | |

Have everyone bring what they want to drink and what they want to put in it. Its easy to keep hot boiled water on the BBQ. Cream/milk can be kept in the coolers with ice. Sugar and Bailies dont need to be refrigerated. | |

So, we are thinking most of just catering out most of it out. Most of the e-mails I got where 50/50 on the pot luck idea, because most can't make enough stuff for a large gathering.
So, here is the idea, $10.00 each and it covers the cost of the following
Piggie
Porta-pottie
Coleslaw
Baked Potato
Sour Cream
Tossed Salads
Greek Salad, or Caesar Salad
Buns
Butter.
The fire works idea may not fly with the fire bans
We are working on the fire pit now so We can at least have a bonfire and music.
Anyone has any other idea's say now we are running out of time here. | |
