One should not forget that since Strippers are recruited from the Human Race,
1) Every one is different
2) They come in an infinite variety of personalities
I've met girls who are drug addicts turning tricks on the side and I've met girls who are College students who can make more $$$ stripping than a regular job and have an open schedule. I've met divorced girls supporting kids the best way they can. I've met a few Lesbians who get a kick out of teasing guys for $$$. I've met a few ole ladies of Harley riders.

Sadly the days of no touching seem to be long gone. Don't fool yourself, that rule is no longer. If your bf says he gets lapdances then chances are he is touching. Hopefully not anywhere where there could be bodily fluids passed, but that isn't out of the question. It happens right in the open, not just in the "VIP" room that I sartcastically referred to in the Chris Rock song.
There was a day when striptease was an art form, burlesque show. Exotic dancers had acts and costumes. It was real entertainment. The emphasis was on the "tease" in striptease and that was fun. Most times you actually only saw pasties and some lingerie. It didn't matter cause you enjoyed the performance. Now that is no longer. Just a quick strip and dry hump it seems. I don't see the joy in that.

So I've been to the strippers many times, but have never gotten a lapdance (due to the fact that at the time I was in a relationship). Are they really worth the hype? Also, the strip clubs that I've been to have an area for private lapdances... Is that an area where other things may happen or is it just so other patrons can't get a free close-up look while you get your paid dance?

as for all those people talking about sleezy clubs and how everything goes... yeahhhhhhh, riiiiiiiight... lol
i dont know about other clubs, but i do know my club makes money of alcohol, and they'd like to stay in business... plus there r camera in every single vip booth or lap dance booth, 3 actually, to catch 3 angles... and same goes on floor... they have to have them, for liability and legal purposes...
now, were they to let a girl get away w stuff, first of all, its not the club's money, its the girl's... and getting her 50 bucks in tips end of the nite is not really worth risking to lose ur liquor or business license. they fire the ones they catch.
not saying some r not sleezy, am saying, MOST are not... i have seen girls get fired, for getting too hot in the VIP booth, or for getting too drunk...
and yes, they r paid to sit there and tell u everything u wanna hear, so u spend that dollar... so yes, some will swear to it, and put on the best act to convince u they r going to see u afterwards. do NOT fall for it. chances are, 9 times out of 10, that she's just going along w what u r saying, to make u spend more.
i, for myself, try my best to be honest, i dont do it, u know, what goes around comes around. if i REALLY like a guy, which can and has happened, both for me and many of my girls, i'll usually give him a couple free dances, so he knows i like him and its not business. but it will never be the guy that demands i spend my time w him for free... thats like showing up at a restaurant and demanding free food and service cause u r so 'cool'

"it was only supposed to be 5min" but she went over the time limit cause i'm such a 'great guy'. Then she said for 5 dollars more she would dance another 5min.

So to wrap this up. The lap dance was worth $15 but it wasn't worth the regular price of $30.

However, majority are business women who go in, make their money, and go home, and even invest it. Many dancers, while out in the "real world", have more morals and dress more conservative than your average female, knowing that they want to be classy at all times to kind of make up for the fact that everyone thinks of strippers as "whores".
Many of these women are paying for school (though some are lying), or taking care of kids. If you go to a good club, they still put on the "show/entertainment" part of the "strip club" and these women are HARDWORKING females.
Try to be open minded in everything in life, every job has your sleezebags, but not EVERYONE is the same.
--as for the dances, like I said, you go to a good club, you get a show. You go to some others, you may get a whore. Use your brain it's not that hard to tell who's who.
And money makes the world go round, so why does everyone act like these girls are some kind of detriment to society?? They are just trying to get their piece! | |

I personally do not care for strip joints. The basic truth of the matter is that it is like showing a starving man a picture of a steak. What good is it to look at it and get worked up about it if you cannot have it? However, I have friends who occasionally insist on dragging me with them to such places when they come to visit.

Lap dances were done in chairs and the girls were not allowed to touch the men visa versa. I took my Dad to them on his birthdays. He would get off the stage so happy saying stuff like "I could feel her fur in my face and did you see her t1ts hit my nose" Back then the cost was $50 and the guy got a t-shirt.
Nowadays the girls come on stage naked spreading everything and shoving fingers up themselves. Handjobs are given barside and champagne rooms and toys on stage. I've worked in 5 strip clubs (bartending) and anything goes...and it's gonna cost you. $20 is the minimum charge for the "lapdance" alone...everything goes up WAY UP, from there. A lot of the girls are making between 500 and 1000 a night (on a good night)
And for the dumbasses who are there thinking that it's a place to pick someone up or that the girls give a hoot about you....WAKE-UP!!!!! It's their job to take your money, they are sex workers... not easy women hanging out in a bar. They have to pay the bar to work there. Most have boyfriends or husbands...a lot have children..some are even paying off ther houses and cars. Their job is to make you feel good....and they get payed for that. I've spent a lot of time with the dancers...I know what they think and say about the clients. again...WAKE-UP. | |
