a bad personality can be seen almost immediately, if the first thing out of the mouth is negative, rude, or offensive.. and yes I have personally met a few.... granted there are some that take a while.. but most can be see right off the bast with in about the first 5 -15 minutes of conversation...
I am an upbeat person and always try to look for the best in other people whether or not I agree with what they say or do.... I try to give the benefit of the doubt in all cases...
I grew up with a very negative person... my mother... so a crappy personality is a major turnoff for me! | |

I am well aware of what my intentional posting was to reflect.... however today I felt the need to post my opinion regarding personalities... and how ugly ones can be an instant turn off for me...
this is just my opinion...

Posted: 7/7/2007 2:22:14 PM | kyn269..What a fabulous thread!! This is my first posting on any type of thread, or blog or forum..and it's been a long time coming! I have sooo much to say and so much to hear..I am of an extreme curious nature, which is why this particular thread is of interest to me.
In my humble opinion..the scent is the first and foremost! The cologne is of course more prominent, but the actual personal scent is of upmost importance. I believe that most people are not aware of the significance of this factor. Second would be the chemistry, or lack of. Again, the value of this is key. Lets face it, even if we are completely physically attracted to a person..aaaaand even if the smell is conducive..if the spark aint there..it just aint there. We can try and pretend..or fake it till you make it type thing...but in the end you just end up in a scenario that you knew from the beginning would not work out anyhow..why waste the time and effort?
On a physical note...hygiene is right up there with scent and chemistry. All three of those are equally important. Oral hygiene is so under~rated! I believe that if more people would take note of this simple and what should be a given fact, there would be a heck of a lot more connections! So, needless to say, a smile is a good indicator as to how hygenic one is..or is not! Nice skin is a bonus and is something I truly appreciate. Now, for the personal quirks....hands and feet! Not deal breakers per say..but if I like, is definately another added bonus! All else, for the most part, is netotiable. I mean, no real thing for hair or lack of...height..maybe a bit. Taller is usually preferable.Sense of humor is essential for me! Witt is another pre~requisite! All in all, it just depends on the person...like I said, when the spark is there, its there! Whhhaaaaa~~~Laaaaaa! | |

5) Must be taller then myself for I do love to put on my 3 inch heals!!!

But as with others... once his mouth opens up... it better be good. I'll take in stride a bad day and what not... but when constant negativity comes out of it....
I've reached an old advanced age where I no longer look long at the physical. I dont' care if he's a bit soft around the middle.... cuz I am. I know a FEW of y'all have seen my old modeling shots and I don't mind tellin' you , I don't miss it... well, I miss the legs!
But there were the key words - I don't look long. I look... but not for long.
