| Piercings/tatoos... think about future relationships? Posted: 1/27/2007 10:18:12 AM | | I plan on getting a tattoo in a place that will usually be covered up (on my back, lower down to one side so it's practically on my bum). I'd imagine that to get one there the tattoo artist will probably have to see my bare bum, which isn't a huge deal, but I'd imagine some guys would be uncomfortable with that. I want to get it there because it will be easy to cover up, but the tattoo is still something that's special to me (I want to get my cat's name that died almost 2 years ago with a little paw print). | |

| Piercings/tatoos... think about future relationships? Posted: 1/28/2007 6:27:15 PM | | I know I started this thread, and I'm sorry if anyone was offended by some of the things I said.... I know I'd have no problem with my lady going to a male OBGYN.... In the end, maybe a question or two may be asked, ( More likely she's going to explain how she got it the second I see it....) but I'm really not THAT much of a tight-azz..... It's all good. I musta been in a bad mood on some of those posts..... I was looking for opinions....and I sure got them!!!! Thanks! | |

but it is personal
Exactly!
This thread has been so entertaining to read! I have both tattoos and piercings. They are a part of me, the person that I am and I make no apologies for them.
If YOU are in any way concerned about a potential partner having either, then it is up to YOU to ask before getting close!

| Piercings/tatoos... think about future relationships? Posted: 7/3/2007 11:59:18 AM | | This question is for Milehiguy. Have you ever thought about the fact that a woman has shown her "stuff" to her gynecologist? Sometimes you go to a professional and have to show them something you wouldn't show to the whole world. A tattoo artist or pierceologist is no different. You're not getting intimate WITH them. | |

| Piercings/tatoos... think about future relationships? Posted: 7/4/2007 4:41:36 AM | I have tattoos and a piercing. I bring it up in conversation just in case it's a turn-off for the guy. This way he can move on if he so chooses. The visible ones he can ask about if we meet. The other ones I save for later. | |

Depends where and what it is. If a guy has a heart with 'MOM' tattooed on his willy, I'm going to be running... far away from him.
Maybe you were just looking at it the wrong way.... it may have been 'WOW' but you didn't give him a chance.
All three of my tattoos are easily covered and not many know I have them unless I say something. Really shouldn't be a big deal over art or jewelery on someone no matter what it is. It's personal preference and they got it for themselves, not someone they happen to meet years later.
