Although I have to say that book of Allen Carr's really helped me..

Me too.
I gave up using patches and gum and it was hard and i mean hard.
After 40 yrs of 30 to 40 a day it was one of the toughest things Ive ever done.

On the 3rd week i would still find myself gasping for a fag, not all the time of course but enough to drive me flippin mad every now and then...and then i came across a book called The Easy Way To Give Up Smoking. by Allen Carr.

By the time i had finished it all the craving had gone.

That was about 2 years ago and Ive not craved a fag yet.

Fantastic book would recomend it to anyone.

just throw em in the bin so that you don't have any to have when you feel the need to stop.
I do it with biscuits and cakes and it always works. I've got non so I can't have any no matter how much I crave. If you have them you'll always give in to temptation.
I need a bourbon cream

There's absolutely no need to crave for a cigarette.
Pop along to your local library and take out the book Ive mentioned by Allen Carr he even tells you to carry on smoking as you read it.
I cant explain how the book works ..you have to read it yourself but after 4o years of smoking it done it for me.

I think Allan Carr is highly manipulative and he cannot manipulate everyone, I read his book for about 20 times, know it by heart now and he does nothing for me.

The problem is some people form emotional relationship with cigarettes.. they are their best friends, their family etc... they make them feel secure and not alone so quitting smoking feels like leaving your best friend

Apparently stubborn people are the ones that find it difficult to stop smoking..

If you are not ready to stop... then do not stop...
Do not force yourself to stop.. this would make you want to smoke even more... (stubborn people always do this.. apparently)

Stop when you are ready..

"I'm happy smoking for now but eventually would like to give up."

Question: do you want to give up?

Answer: If Yes - Then quit talking about and just do it right now.

"Share all your tips on how u stopped the cravings etc etc and what the benefits have been!"

You don't need tips, you want to stop, Yes? Then just do it...

The benefit.... only you can answer, what is your reason for wanting to give up?

My reason was based on smoking carries a health risk, you have one life, why gamble the risk of your future health...
