I also collected miniature perfume bottle replicas from all over North America and Europe... theyre still intact... not sure how the perfume in each smells tho  | |

And because I have collected tins for years they are all full of matches now. Started burning them up now though. Just thought if I ever had a fire my house would go up in smoke. | |

- Wade miniature figurines (nursery rhymes and animals from around the world)
- keychain licence plates with my name on them from different provinces/states
- stuffed bears
- fridge magnet crossing signs (moose crossing, mammoth crossing, etc.)
- Dale Jr. and Dale Sr. NASCAR memorabilia
- rocks...cause I like the way they look and feel to carry in my pocket:)

Maybe the odd one because I want to find something out but we have the internet now to do that. But, I am still having a hard time with letting go of them. I would keep a few, like all my books on Marilyn Monroe but the others...one day and I think it's coming soon..you know, spring cleaning and all. But I still do like the idea of having a library of sorts....just have a thing for them. Boy it is hard to make up my mind sometimes lol. | |

They were also avid travellers & sent me postcards from all the countries they visited. I don't really have time to keep up with organizing them as well as I should, but I do have a pretty good collection from around the world but am still missing a lot of countries. Used to collect stuffed animals but got rid of them when I downsized after the divorce. I also collect dust bunnies but am looking for someone to take those off my hands ... any offers? | |

Posted: 7/6/2008 9:23:06 PM | Retired cell phones. I recently gave up my collection to the highest bidder. You would be aghast at the depreciation in value these once expensive gadgets underwent. Also, for sentimental reasons, I possess cassettes of rock music I listened to as a young lad, which I only rarely listen to. I have an embarrassingly large collection of read and reread books, of the finest literary taste, currently residing in an old steamer trunk in storage.
I would like to make a point of collecting art and fine wines in the immediate future along with motorcycles, exotic cars and boats.....those who have already begun a collection of this kind may send me their undesirables until I have developed sufficient knowledge to label myself a true connoisseur. | |
