Posted: 1/29/2007 8:12:33 PM | Used to be.... but I kept having to pay more and more to get less and less......
This site has way more beneficial features than any I have come across before. I have been on about 3 -4 other sites and this one is the best of them all!
It serves more purpose than just dating.... I keep in contact with my sister and my friends through this site too.
I rate it 5 gold stars *****

When I went back my time window to use my credits had lapsed and they kept all the dough, yet I never had used my credits. I don't care if it was stipulated somewhere or not. It just sucked. Personally, I just think that is bad business. So I am so done there. What goes around comes around.... | |

Posted: 1/29/2007 8:25:24 PM | Nope. I have a profile on Lavalife but have yet to buy credits. Responding to others there is free and that's what I've done. (That's where I heard about POF) That's actually not a bad site.
I did take the EHarmony personality profile out of curiosity, to see if I'd be one of the 20% of people they couldn't match.  Apparently I'm in the other 80% but have no urge to shell out the bucks for the site.
I did have a paid membership to JDate for a while but cancelled it because I wasn't really using it much. It might have been put to better use if I wasn't shy about making initial contact.  My profile's still up there, though. | |

So... $89.95 for a year (this just happened) and of course... she's a girl who works as a consultant for her dad in Africa and I guess she needs to be on an escort site for some reason... (mebbe to protect her identity...cuz after all, who would think to LQQK for her on there?) LOL I better get a good tarot card reading quick cuz I just might lose it here. And hey, just cuz a guy pays when every lightbulb on the marquee lights up on a pretty profile face... don't try to screw him more and put him into a "are you paying" tight thread... cuz that's just crazy marketing and feeds the "I think I'll start up a paysite mentality" LOL... seriously, she was pretty and I clicked. Lesson learned... (been doing this 2 1/2 years now) think I woulda finally caught wind of it all. Fake winks, fake pics, fake profiles, fake fakes even... don't even think of charging "direct" for membership. Big fishes eating little fishes is NOT the way to go here. Just tired of swimming in circles I guess... or am I just green around the gills? please stay away from amishfriendfinder.com, I keep calling those girls and I don't even get dial tone... *SIGH* ~Uzi~ | |

I've been on a few different ones and have payed here and there, be it match, yahoo, singleme, singlesnet, free or not they are all about the same when it comes down to it.
You have good people as well as jerk's on any of these site's, paying member's or not.
Just my experience... POF you have more than any paying site can offer... Keep it up.... | |

Once I found POF I couldn't go back, the guys here are just as nice and I don't have to waste my paycheque trying to afford all the memberships. I think everyone who has posted all have the same idea.... why pay when you get the same type of people at no cost..... there's lots of variety and plenty of singles.... though it does feel like a small pond somedays I'll keep on swimming until I find that prince among the toads!! LOL
P.S. to the creators... thank you so much... you do us all a great service | |
