But if you saw Farnheit 911 for example, I think out of 500 (I think, I'm British) congressmen, there was ONE who had a kid out in Iraq when that film was made. And as the film made the point, who was making the sacrifice out there, no, not the American or British elite families, but the working class. Three EIGHTEEN year old British soldiers died in Afghanistan last week, now screw patriotism in my opinion, those are CHILDREN in my view who have died for rich men with a vested interest in the region, oil pipelines and so on. Now that to me is the very definition of unfairness.
God Bless all the innocent people who die in the middle east, and that very much includes the soldiers by the way. | |

Posted: 7/28/2009 5:50:07 PM | My boyfriend was in the Army for 5 years. I didn't meet him until after he was honorably discharged. However, without him even telling me he had been in the military, I would have known. He still have several behaviors that are consistent with military personel.
And for the record....I LOVE that he was a military man. I asked his mom for this Army picture and we have it framed on the entertainment center. He doesn't understand why I love that picture, but I do. | |
