I think if I were pregnant and single, I'd have bigger things to worry about than dating. That is huge.

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 10/11/2008 2:52:35 AM | At this point in my life, I don't know if I'd be willing to date a pregnant woman. Having 4 kids of my own, I understand how quickly and strongly you can bond with a newborn. It would be very hard on me to form that kind of bond and then have it shattered if things didn't work out with the mother.
However, I can't say I'd rule it out either. If things did work out with the mother, it would be incredible to be there for that child from the beginning.

Either a man is a jerk and will run away even if you've been talking for months and havent met yet OR he can become one of your best friends and be a ear to listen when you need it or a shoulder to cry on...even if over the phone or online. The ones that stick around and support you and become your friends more over the situation are the ones u really want around you anyways...negative people suck so dont hang out with them!

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 2/14/2009 1:15:07 PM | In all fairness, she should have had something in her profile "About Me" about being pregnant. That really is unfair to potential interests. If anything, she should be listed as just looking for friends. Being pregnant is no time to date. | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 2/15/2009 2:00:44 PM | | Why in the world is a pregnant woman looking to date people? I remember being pregnant and men was the absolute last thing on my plate of things to worry about....in fact. It wasn't even on the plate..lol. I wouldn't recommend dating a pregnant woman (unless the baby is yours) to any man. | |

No, we didn't go all the way, but the times going for movies, dinners, etc were pleasant, and the times we could just snuggle were absolutely terriffic. It is such a wonderful time to have a friend whom you can really be-friend, as so much of our society marginalizes the expecting woman, and expects her to already have a guy for help with personal circumstances. I hope that I get the opportunity to meet another lady who is, and who is looking for friendship. Of course, they would have to live near me to really do any participation.

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 2/18/2009 10:48:03 PM | | As a women, I would absolutly not date any guy enless it was the father of the baby if I were pregnant. If I were a man I wouldn't. After the baby is born, more power to you, but I just could not do it. | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? No I wouldn't for several reasons.
1. Women have many changes going on while she is with child, and faces many different issues I would not want to be involved with.
It was hard enough to deal with my daughters mothers while they were pregnant carrying "my" child. Being supportive isn't always an easy thing to do.
Now you add in the issue of there being another guy in the picture. One that comes around here and there or calls here and there. Then comes around talking about getting back together after the babies born. Adding to an already stressed or confused woman's problems.
2. I personally feel that once you get pregnant your focus should be becoming a parent. Becoming the best parent possible. The mothers health and child's health and safety should really be all that she should be concerned with.
Not finding another love interest. Yes everyone deserves love. And in this situation it is a truer statement then ever. Love yourself and the child!

LOL...I WAS in that situation and with morning sickness, mood swings, work, trying to assess how I was going to really handle a baby, and trying to talk her father through the pregnancy, there was no time for romantic interests.

Posted: 2/20/2009 3:13:23 AM | | ~Amore~ your statement about me wantin affection is how i got pregnant in the 1st place shows more about your character and morals than it does mine. while you equate affection as droppin ur knickers, i beleive it 2b cuddles, sum1 askin how i am and shwin an interest etc!!

I have to ask, is it the hormonal imbalance of being pregnant, or do you always lack a sense of humor? I really thought her comment was creative and witty and in no way an insult. Your statement just prompted the joke.
Your reply about morals and character really shows your lack of both. But then again it could just be the hormones causing the confusion. Lighten up a little!
