| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 5/10/2009 3:26:12 PM | | I'd date a pregnant woman. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing; there's no greater miracle. Although I do have to say stretch marks are a turn off! | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 5/10/2009 5:43:36 PM | to much of headache period! freinds at first see were it leads me if it happens but i would seriously not do it or suggest it. pregnancy is beautiful thing but what happens after the baby comes?you do not know !if i were in that situation which i am not and most likely will never be but you never know if she was a lifetime freind or good freind that i have know for a long time maybe. it sure as hell would not be somene off the internet if you do that you r a SUCKER and you get what you deserve ..If you knew this person and she did get pregnant and she was a good freind leave at freinds throughout the pregnancy stand by her side and be her freind after she has the baby wait a few months and see were it goes just as freinds if you still have feelings for her tell how you feel but women and hormones go hay wire espeacially when there pregnant.... they really wishy washy and sometimes psycho.....:and could drive you to drinking: | |

Would you date a pregnant woman? -- I have in the past (when I was younger), but at this point in my life -- No, I wouldn't. Having said that, let's say that I met a woman in her late 30's to mid 40's who I clicked with -- she had no children, but after deciding to marry, she told me that she would really like to experience motherhood -- this would be an exception -- it would be something that the relationship needed, and something that I would agee to.

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 5/13/2009 9:47:23 AM | It really all depends on the situation she's in. If her life is calm and settled I would love a friendship and possibly more, but if it's chaotic with the father I dont know if I would wanna get involved.
There's something about pregnant women... I can't quite put my finger on it, but they're so beautiful

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 5/13/2009 10:16:52 AM | I have a friend who is a sole parent and is expecting her 3rd child 5 months pregnant, we often go out for lunch, I have no complaints about it.
she is a friend not a GF, I belive that if you have that great emotional connection then that will overcome anything either real or imagined, If it was a woman who I loved with my entire soul and being thats because I am a hopeless romantic there would never be any thought of not doing it.
so if the answer is yes. | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 5/13/2009 10:37:55 AM | | I don't think it is fair to the future child for the mother to be dating, unless she doesn't expose the newborn to her dates. The reason is that the child may bond with the new guy, and then when/if the relationship ends the child will be devastated. | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 5/16/2009 6:45:33 AM | | I am a pregnant and single. The father of my child will be around and accepts my choice to date other men. I am not looking for anyone to play daddy. Even if after my child is born and the father takes off I will be mommy and daddy to my child. I don't nor would I make another man take responsibility for my child. | |

Even if after my child is born and the father takes off I will be mommy and daddy to my child. I don't nor would I make another man take responsibility for my child. How in the world would you not expect the man you date while your pregnant, and once you give birth, to be a daddy to your child once it's born? They may not be biologically the dad, but that man who chooses to stay with you after your baby is born will take on a parenting role and have responsibilities to this child... whether it be sharing a home and helping out with bills and chores, all the way to feeding and changing diapers. It's inane to think that the man you bring into your childs life will bear no responsibility.

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 7/14/2009 5:04:22 PM | I am single and pregnant and have been since before I found out. Many people find it strange that I have maintained a good relationship with my unborn daughter's father but having been left halfway through my first pregnancy and the aminosity I had with my son's father - I think it's a good thing that we can maintain a good relationship for the sake of our little girl, rather than fight and use her against each other. Our split was a mutual agreement as things were not working out for either of us but that doesn't mean that we cant be a team in raising her.
On the subject of dating a woman while she is pregnant - I personally wonder why on earth the woman would be looking to date anyone - okay so i'm on a dating site but purely to chat to new people rather than get a date.
I'm not looking for anything like that - i'm more interested in devoting my time in being a good parent to my son and to my daughter when she arrives. How can a woman do that when she is absorbing herself in dating a new guy? There are two many factore a guy has to take into account when dating a pregnant woman - how will they feel when the baby actually arrives? If they intend it as only fun - are they aware of how hormonal/emotional the woman can be (even if told from the off that its not a long term thing)?
By all means, be friends with her but I wouldn't feel comfortable dating a guy while pregnant - that's just too much to get into straight away, for both parties. Perhaps if you are still friends further down the line then maybe there is a shot at a relationship.
Just my opinion. | |

Interesting that irresponsibility is a turn-on, but having skin with little to no elasticity (something in the DNA make-up) is something that would turn someone away.

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 7/14/2009 5:24:04 PM | | no prob dating a pregnant woman...BUT it should be like the FIRST thing disclosed in the profile...i mean...its gonna come up sooner or later. | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 7/14/2009 5:24:50 PM | | No I don't think o would date a pregnant woman to me it seems as if it would be more drama then needed. Unless she was already my girl and it was my kid of course lol. | |
|
| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 7/14/2009 7:19:09 PM | It's only drama if the girl is dramatic. I know lots of girls that are pregnant right now that are completely clueless and absolutely overly dramatic. They read book after book and watch show after show and get all worried and freaked out. I am single and pregnant.... I wouldn't say I'm dating right now but mostly because I have not chosen to date anyone since I found out.... Not really sure what I think about it because I havent been in this kind of situation before lol... but in anycase drama is based on the person not the pregnancy itself. | |

Wait, what? You think other people would think it was weird that you have a good relationship with your unborn child's father? Wouldn't it be more weird if you didn't? Just few months ago you were so in love that you were planning on being together forever and having a family together, weren't you? Aren't those the circumstances in which most people have a baby? What could have changed so drastically in so short of a time?
What happened with your first child's father?

I meant once a woman has been pregnant long enough to find out she is already pregnant, she won't be ovulating. :P

Hutcherson said some studies have shown that 1 to 2 percent of all fraternal twins have different dads. It just doesn't get noticed sometimes.

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 7/14/2009 9:03:29 PM | That is yucky. How many women are unfaithful? Cripes.
This is also from that article:
Washington, who just turned 20, admitted to her partner that she had sex with another man within that five-day window — hence, the double conception.
Washington and Harrison, who are both African-American, say they intend to marry someday. They said they also plan on telling the kids the entire story when they're old enough to grasp it.
Besides its amazing twist, the story also has a mystery: The other father's identity isn't being released. And it has a surprise: Washington, who has a 4-year-old son from a different father, says the clan will grow even larger in August.
"They're gonna have a baby sister," she said.
That sounds confusing.
