| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 7/30/2005 10:20:37 AM | | The attraction to a female when in her gestation phase (pregnant) accounts for biology's way of the male insuring his offspring will make it into the world...it is a natural attraction...and instinct. | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 7/30/2005 10:51:03 AM | If I were a man-- no.
It has nothing to do with the child or anything, but I just think the mother needs to take that time to focus on her child and figure out what direction she is headed with the father. Even if her decision is to have nothing to do with the dad.. I think a person needs a certain amount of time to adjust to the impending birth and responsibility of a child.
Someone mentioned the dad thing... Same idea to me. I wouldnt date a father who was expecting. I dont think I would date anyone with a child less than about 6 months of age.
I just like to be in a relationship with someone who is emotionally confident in where they are at and I think it takes some time after having a child to re-configure where you stand and what you want in your life.
There are a few exceptions, but thats my opinion for the majority.

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 7/30/2005 4:17:36 PM | Probably not.
I think I'd have trouble with the idea of becoming attached to a woman who is in the process of gestating another man's child.

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 8/23/2005 1:25:26 AM | | I'm 8 months pregnant right now and am currently not with the father whatsoever for reasons that he is an ass. That's besides the point, i've noticed (with me and my other friends who have been single and pregnant) that women who are pregnant arn't usually trying to find a father or even a long term relationship for them or their unborn. Most of them are just using you for sex or just someone to talk to for a day or two. I don't and I'm not going to have time to deal with and ass of a baby daddy, an infant, a job, school and a man at home complaining about his warm beer and how he needs more of my attention. | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 8/23/2005 2:51:03 AM | well nice to know there are other women on here who are prego as well as me...lol... ihaven't had any problems finding dates. Yes guys r attratched by nature, and maybe it's a fetish thing, i dunno. I know the conversations, and time spent with a nice guy for a while helps cure the loneliness a little, even if just friends. I am always upfront about my pregnancy, and situation in the first few mintues of talking, because it's a big deal getting involved with someone who is expecting a child, and possibly has kids. No point wanting a guy who doesn't want kids, or has another agenda. And i think it's only right to be up front and straight forward, especially in this situation.
I think guys who would takes on a woman who is prego, and or has kids in a sencere loving long term relationship way is awsome. There are great guys out there. xoxox

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 8/26/2005 1:04:07 PM | | I was estranged from my boyfriend during part of my pregnancy. I felt completely alone and unattractive. It was awful. I found that men looked at me differently. I was asked out for coffee by one guy, but he kept asking me questions about "what happened to the father"? After the baby, things have gone back to normal. Now when I talk to men they don't look at me like the virgin mary or some poor pitiful soul..lol. | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 8/26/2005 10:57:07 PM | Depends on the lady and the circumstance... as always... I will say that it does not necessarily eliminate her... but... it would raise questions... serious ones... However, if she had been abandoned... It would not bother me... a large number of prenant ladies are cute, glowing, and some are sexy as he**... If she liked me... and I her... yeah...

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 8/27/2005 1:00:56 AM | First of all if you are pregnant I think the LAST thing in the world you need is to be dating. Your life is about to undergo some severe changes and your time is going to be devoted to that new little life.
That being said, yes I would gladly date a pregnant woman if I found her attractive AND if the father was not in the picture. If he was, three is a crowd and I've no desire to be a fifth wheel.

Uhh because men don't get morning sickness and bloated? They don't break water and go into labour?

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 8/27/2005 5:34:52 AM | There are so many men out there who are commitment scared. What is so scary about kids, your's or not?? I am a female(bisexual) and i have dated one preggo women. The way i see it is your dating her, u like her(or love) and that means ALL of her, her bad habbits, snoring, hogging the bed, eating to much, or being preggo. To many men out there judge women because of what mistakes have happened, who know maybe the girl was raped and instead of abortion she chooses to keep it. Now if she was doing it to get a guy to support her, then yes thats BS, that is not your responiblity unless u adopt that child. I guess my point is, you never know till you try, she may be the one. This is aimed mostly at the guys, I IM'ed a woman on POF that was...well, "Had one on the way" Her ad stated she didn't have any kids...which is a fact...lol She said, "I hope you don' tmind dating someone that's pregnant.
I love babbies. My favorite time with my boys was them from their birth to 2 years. I wouldn't mind at all. In fact, I'd enjoy it. I'd prefer that to teens.

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 8/27/2005 7:40:19 PM | | wow....reading some of these...i wonder why no one has really showed interest in me...sheesh...i'm pregnant...hmmm...maybe b/c it's not going to be for long...hmmmm...i honestly...as a pregnant single woman...can understand both sides...why someone would date a pregnant female...and why someone would not...if i was a guy...i would honestly be a bit skepticle about dating a single pregnant woman for the simple fact that there are a lot of women out there who would want a father for their children...me on the other hand...my kids have me and that's all they need... | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 8/28/2005 6:43:48 PM | I certainly would and have. I am one of a few guys that absolutely love the look of a pregnant woman and everything about her when in that state. And as far as would I date her after she wasn't pregnant? I sure would, I can't see any reason not to be just as interested afterward as when she was pregnant. Plus it's totally lame to dump her afterward anyhow, not cool! | |

| Would you date a pregnant woman? Posted: 8/28/2005 7:06:21 PM | | That is too bad that some of you have had such a bad experience with guys wanting to date you simply because you are preggers. I dated a woman once before from the time she was about 3 months along till she gave birth, sadly she thought she saw greener pastures afterward and sent me packin, which ultimately ended up with her getting dumped as well. Later I met a woman who had a 3 y.o son who I eventually ended up rasisng basically on my own. I guess she was really looking for someone to step up and assume the role of the main parent, which I did for 13 more years and he turned out great. But I would love to date another preg woman and no, I wouldn't bail afterward. | |
