Posted: 3/16/2007 4:19:54 AM | Much as I hate to lose by default I'm figuring it's gonna happen. My great neice's birthday party was changed from last weekend to this weekend and she's racing in the Summit Bracket(NHRA) and as much as I like all you guys I'd rather not miss her big day. She wants me to bring my Mustang so she can see what it does on the track so like an idiot I'm gonna do it. Hopefully no dents or dings.

Now, that it's official, I really hope to meet lots of people. That's not the easiest thing for me because I find it hard to approach strangers sometimes. So, PLEASE approach me if I don't approach you! I'm easy to know and talk to, but just a little shy. I'm bringing a friend in case nobody else talks to me! LOL I'm being facetious.....I promise to make the effort to talk to lots of people! I am actually from Metter, but have been away for many many years. So, at least I have my own built-in place to stay----good ole' Mom. Looking forward to seeing everyone there! | |

But I do appreciate the offer....and hopefully will get to meet you and others from our area. We are always looking for new friends and new things to do. We might all want to get together for another cookout or something!

She's a super driver and I want to support her all I can. Besides all of us old codgers have had our hearts broken already and knows what it feels like.

What would you have done Mr. President? Family or bon-fire? I can always invite all my friends on POF to a pool party at my place to make up for missing the event, but I can't make up to her for missing the biggest day in her life.
