| The Cure for Cancer? Posted: 2/5/2007 2:37:05 PM | Actually I would suggest to everybody in this thread that they seek out a book called "The Cancer Cure that Worked" and/or read up on the work of Royal (Ray) Rife.
Apparently there were some claims made by Rife that are a little far fetched, but this is what I know.
We're all familiar with the idea that glass will shatter when a certain high-pitched noise is made? Well this man Rife discovered, 70 years ago, that the same principal applies to organic matter. If you can find the right frequency, the membrane of a cell will shatter thus killing the cell.
Using a very high-powered telescope and a device that transmits what are effectively radio waves, he was able to determine the correct frequency to shatter the cell membrane of cancer cells - and many other ailments as well - viral, bacterial, whatever.
During the 1930's, he had clinics operating all around the U.S. which were CURING PEOPLE OF CANCER. When the head of the American Medical Association (at that time) tried to buy into the technology, and Rife turned him down, the technique was outlawed!
Here's the really incredible part. This technology is now available in Canada - for use by VETERINARIANS. I had a classmate last year who once had a dog cured of cancer by this method. So the bottom line is that if you're a farmer and your COW gets a malignant growth on her uterus the vet can cure her - but if it's your WIFE who gets cancer you're s.o.l. Every now and again there's an item in the press about somebody getting arrested for practicing medicine without a license because they have used one of these Rife Frequency Generators on somebody other than themselves (as I understand it you can use it on yourself but not on anybody else).
To get back to the OP's question - based on what I have learned about Ray Rife's work I have no doubt whatsoever that any cure for cancer would be suppressed because there's just too f'ing much money in the cancer research industry.

| The Cure for Cancer? Posted: 2/8/2007 1:37:05 PM | I just have to post this - I know it is not really related to the original post, but I have to give my great news.
I am cancer free!!!!! 100% cancer free!!! Its been 7 years and a helluvalot of life experience for one so young. Tumors all disappeared, blood count normal - I am free!!
I was once told I wouldn't make 20 years of age...I'm 25...Told I'd not have children...One son (albeit entirely unplanned:)...I never stopped dreaming big and living fully..Gosh, I've been laughing and crying all afternoon.
When I was told that chemotherapy and hysterectomy would only marginally improve my life expectancy I opted for no treatment at all. Who knows why, but I am fine now. (maybe my personal cure was childbirth?)
Sorry to throw this in, just had to share my exciting news!! Time to go celebrate!!
I've no idea who said this first, but it is true for me. There is always hope for life where there is an acceptance of death.

| The Cure for Cancer? Posted: 2/8/2007 4:14:07 PM | Well peeps maybe it's time that big brother drug company, the government and all other parties involved got a swift kick in the A!@. Afterall each of us know someone who is afflicted by this terrible monster and if there is resolve amongst the ever day Joe-than who can stop this.
All it takes is a few voices to put the word out and get the government to get up off it's freaking as!. At the end of the day- whatever company won't make much money but we will have less expense on the health care system. More importantly we will have vibrant, healthy, productive people contributing back to society- without fear & depression of leaving loved ones behind.
That's the bottom line isn't it- each of us to be happy, healthy and making the world a better place :-)

I am sure I'll be reading a post from you on here in 50 years from now.. :)

| The Cure for Cancer? Posted: 3/3/2007 8:44:03 PM | It made me angry that there is a possibility that companies are actively letting people die because there is no money in it for them.
Then I realized, that sometimes you can't sit back and wait for someone to do something. Sometimes you have to do something yourself. And it doesn't mean that that "something" needs to be done rashly or unsafely. There are so many members on POF, from all over the world. I am sure someone is a doctor, or has contacts in the research field, and make inquiries about an established university interested in picking up the work. Surely someone has the proper financial know how to know how to arrange for funding. Surely someone marketing savy, to get the message out. Someone out there has the knowledge and ability to do library research and find out what is needed to get a drug approved. Someone out there is a good at cutting through red tape. Someone has chemical background, pharmacutical, HVAC. Someone is good at writing the necessary reports. I could go on.
And for those who want to stick it to all those SOBs greedy little turds out there, that's the way to do it. Get organized and do something. because they're not scared of single individuals. what scares them the most, is when individuals get organized.
Does anyone feel the same way?

| The Cure for Cancer? Posted: 3/6/2007 5:31:43 PM | ^^^ I do!
stay connected: Also an excellent post!
Somebody mentioned that we now live longer. This, undoubtably, is true...but are we living better? Health treatment has improved, yet obeseity, diabeties, and other "cronic" illnesses have steadily increased.
It's called business...the business of treating illness...it's not in businesses interest to prevent illness.
<div class="quote">....ever notice most Doctors have a pharmaceutical bible they refer too when figuring out what to prescribe to you?<div class="/quote"> Do you know that for all the medical training Dr.'s get....almost none is devoted to nutritional training!
Here's a few names worth looking up:
Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn Jr. Dr. John McDougall Dr. T. Colin Campbell
Nearly everything can be related to diet and exercise...but not much money to be made at it.
