Posted: 3/24/2007 7:00:56 AM | Been there, done that. It was fun but, not the end-all earth shattering event for me that it is for some folks. I haven't had one turn out badly (hurt feelings, breakups, etc.) but, I travel in a poly circle which is where most of my exploits have taken place. It is a different mindset than a monogamous couple trying to add a third. And since we all know each other (maybe a lot, maybe a little) there is less concern of STD's etc. than with purely random meetings. Of course protection and cleaning is discussed up front, between individuals or as a group.
Most recently a lover of mine basically wanted to give me as a gift to one of her friends. Both ladies told me they were very satisfied with the outcome, so much so that the friend and I have become lovers while the relationship with my original lover continues as well.
Threesomes are fun and for me will continue but, there is also a lot to be said for focusing on one woman at a time.

I plan to be honest about this with anyone I date, but there wouldn't be any pressure. If she's into it, I would definately want some ground rules in place. Not sure about MMF, but hey, if that's something she wants to try, I might be willing. | |

It has yet to cause a riff or ended a single friendship, so I guess I've been lucky thus far. I will say, when there is 2 men involved they tend to get rather competitive, but you will not hear me complain.
