Posted: 3/9/2007 5:26:52 AM | I called Howard Johnsons last night and the poor lady at the front desk was totally frazzled with all the bikers in house .. the band was cranking in the background and she sounded like she was bordering on a nervous breakdown.I tried to book my room and she asked me to call in the morning instead. She did however say she was ready for POF to come calling again.
I called back this morning to once again try to book my room.. and this time I heard a voice at the end of the line that I recognized from our last party. I beleive she is the manager. when I asked to make a reservation she said " why is everyone trying to book when we are right in the middle of bike week" When I told her I was told to call back in the morning she was rather sarcastic. Well my room is booked inspite of Ms. Grumpy on the other end of the phone. So be prepared to not get the nicest customer service when you book. Its all worth it though we are going to have a great party.

That means I am getting my drink on and we are having fun!!! Now that BIKE WEEK is over...need to gear back down to business till this weekend. I do want to know if any one is riding thier bikes in?? Any way ...let me know and please post all comments and concerns about the party!
I do ask since it should be nice that we keep the inside bar as smoke free as possible for the many guest that don't smoke...just as a good guesture for the other guest.
Yes I am trying to work off all the sirlion tips, buttered mushrooms, and steak sandwiches we consumed during bike week...lmao! So who knows what I am wearing yet | |
