Oh my god Pippa I was beginning to think I imagined that sweet. I loved it, but you seem to have put me off it a bit with your description lol

it was like trip down memory lane .... texan, although if i remember they were quite chewy so would probably pull all my fillings now .... nutty bars, used to eat all the peanuts off first and was the middle not made of fudge .. pacers were yummy .... sweet tabacco was weird but i did like it .. i did also like victory v lozengers for some odd reason but not fishermans friends ....

did anyone used to like the hard liquorice stick with one end flattened down and a name printed on it ... it was like chewing on a piece of old leather.

rainbow sherbert .. which i'm sure was just multi coloured sugar !

quarter of toffee crumble ... which rumour had it was bits of twix ...

bazooka joe

i'm just starting to realise why i have fillings in my teeth !!!!

yeah the nutty bar filling was more like fudge, and pacers were ace, and I love all liquorice even now but those sticks were great, dipped in the rainbow sherbert!!! Trying to get hold of liquorice tablets at the momnet but our old fashioned sweety shop cant get them

slightly off topic but does anyone remember DUndee biscuits, giant chocolate shortbreads only 4 in a packet and tasted wonderful, I havent seen them for years.
