I was good friends with this bi/lesbian couple. Me and my roomate at the time were friends with them, and eventually some bright idea appeared that we should all date(me and my friend date the two bi-girls....just to clear any confusion).
Well, things got REALLY messed up.....and by the end of it, one of them died. Eh...its hard to explain.
My friend is still very messed up over it all. I got out before it got too bad. | |

Posted: 2/11/2007 3:18:58 AM | I suppose I went with a gay guy for about 3 years and i didn't know at first but then he told me and we were just very good friends and i loved him dearly. We went to family functions together etc. I suppose he was my gay BF. I still dated straight guys but I suppose if you have that connection with someone it gets in the way of you connecting with someone of your own sexual orientation.
When he met his partner our friendship unfortunately ended abruptly because his boyfriend was jealous that we were too close and I suppose we were in lots of ways. I wonder now if I was his cover (his straight girlfriend) to please his family. I felt like one of the family anyway. It was hard to loose him but also to not speak to his mom again, it was hard I went through some grief. But it is better not to spend all my time with a gay guy where is that going to get me. | |

I've actually got many gay/bi/lesbian friends...a few of whom were in hetero relationships (complete with marriage and kids) at one point in their lives. It's unfortunate that kids were involved, but I feel that way about any divorced couple with kids.
My feeling is that sexual preference is a spectrum and that all people fall somewhere along it, from 100% hetero through to 100% gay. Meaning - that "bi" to some could mean 80% straight, 20% gay, etc.

My ex husband was in love with another woman for 2 years and the whole time he knew she was a lesbian with a girlfriend. He fantasised about her all the time he would take her picture and show everyone how beautiful she was.(Obviously this has a lot to do with why we divorced) i am very the girly femally type and she was totally butch i am just wondering why he would go for her COULD HE BE GAY HIMSELF i have to ask. Oh and by the way she was never interested in him obviously although they spoke intently i think for her it was the mental connection she needed. If anyone has any advice on the ABOVE IN BOLD please let me know what u think.

I find gay men extremely appealing as they are easy to relate to and non-threatening. I have many gay and lesbian friends and feel so at ease with all of them- bad experiences with hetero guys I guess.
Alot of gay men have that very andrgynous look about them which I find appealing and they can also be very sensual...........

Posted: 2/14/2007 4:52:41 AM | In college I dated someone for 1 1/2 yrs. After we broke up he started to question his sexuality, he ended up playing for the other team.. I guess you could say I turned him gay! since he could not have me!... just kidding.
We lost touch for 10 yrs but now have become great friends since finding eachother again. He said that he would go straight if he knew he had a chance with me. hmmmmm!!! maybe I was not kidding about turning him gay!

She's now married to a woman. These days, it's not a big deal, at least for women, to sit on the fence regarding their orientation. I suppose you could say that both of these women were really bisexual, not lesbian. Anyway, when an ex moves on, it's none of my business what she does. | |

Part of the research was interviewing gays...I interviewed one of the most gorgeous guys that I've ever seen or met. Not only was he gorgeous but very intelligent as well...and I must add built like a football player. Yes, I was very attracted to him....and we did become good friends once I got over the fact that he simply did not do heterosexual relationships. Ooohhh, what a waste  | |

I didn't really know what "gay" was then...I was just a naive, good little Catholic girl. 
But once I figured it out I was glad for him since he seemed to have found the love of his life! We lost touch, and I hope he made it OK through those rough early days of AIDS.
