Most guys would like to get to know a fine lady from the usa but most of the woman restrict guys from other countries contacting them. Now theres only 27 million people in canada and more than 270 million people in the usa .. all you ladies should free up your profiles so that guys from canada could contact you if they wish. thanks

| Canadian men--would you move to the US to be with a woman? Posted: 2/13/2007 7:43:35 AM | I wouldn't move to the States for anything. I like the medical coverage, low crime rate and peaceful living of Canada!
Then again, it's -16 C here ...... I guess that's better than a tornado or a hurricane. :(

But I know a friend that has done that actually and he moved from Toronto to Iowa and loves this girl!! So could it be done? I think it can be easily!!

| Canadian men--would you move to the US to be with a woman? Posted: 2/13/2007 3:22:16 PM | | well the pictures are very low quality on this site ,,now if you could send them in an email and they could be blown up full size ,,then the chance of the person not looking like there picture problem would be eliminated ..even video is poor quality ,,so to move is the question ? to be honest no i don't think so because of the good job i would have to quit and starting over in a new strange place,,but love is powerful and i have made some big moves in my younger days for a girl and her for me .. | |

Is there a shortage of Canadian women?
Nope. There's a lot of really cute canadian women on here, I used to think too bad they're so far away... of course now I'm taken :-P
But then again, I've heard them all on here griping about how there are no "good men" in their area. And, hmm, I hear the same thing from the american women. Not so sure it really makes that much of a difference, since all men are out for "one thing".

| Canadian men--would you move to the US to be with a woman? Posted: 2/13/2007 8:17:55 PM | | It was really sad to see a canadian man have such a low opinion of their canadian women. I have heard great things about american women, canadian women, english women, etc etc etc..I am not sure where you have met women AT THE MALL but western canadian women eastern canadian women, I have been told are very open, sexually, very confident, and most often happy with who they are. I do not see alot of canadian women trying to hop the border to the US and I live in draft dodge country in BC. I could feel embaressed that a canadian man would disrespect we canadian women, but everyone is entiltled to his or her opinion. That is where canadian women differ than other cultures, we carry a more... do not perspire the small stuff, that being a comment from a man who most definetly has his taste south of here. I agree with the woman saying grass is always greener on the other side..I wonder if that gentleman is like that always... | |

Just No way ~ I would not move to the US of BUSH until that idiot and his evil sidekick are removed from office -- no matter how hot the female.

Funny! Most of the time I feel the same way.
OT:
Every time I click on a good looking man he's from Canada. I've had several very good conversations with men from Canada. But I won't date men from Canada and I live 20 minutes away from the border.
It's the bridge, customs, traffic that puts a problem on dating. It use to be easy going to Canada.

| Mmm Posted: 2/14/2007 8:12:39 AM | I agree there appears to be lots of good looking guys up there in Canada, but I think it just seems that way because so many of the members here (especially forum posters) are from Canada. There's a large number of pretty women up there too.
And since I look at the profiles of the forum posters all the time, I was getting the (I hoped mistaken!) impression that the guys in Canada were (gulp) oftentimes more intelligent, funny, confident... than the available men in my area. So just out of curiosity, I've done searches for men in different areas in Canada and trust me....outside of the forum posters...you're going to find lots and lots of Canadian male POFers whose profiles read just like the ones I come across here. "Yo, hit me up" or "Ask and I well till" or "I want a pritty woman who can go from shorts to nice close in ten seconds"....or the no photo people...or the blurry photos...or the photos of them proudly displaying their beer depository....not much different in the general population really. Everyone's got a computer these days afterall.
I really wish more men from my general area would post in the forums. You get a better sense of who they are.
I can't imagine getting to really know someone well enough online to consider a move though. I need that IRL experience to be sure I'm actually attracted. And my skill with a firearm might scare some of them anyway.

| Mmm Posted: 2/14/2007 9:00:42 AM | ^^^^^ I agree w/ the above about Canadians, and as other posters have noted, there seem to a LOT of hot, attractive people of both sexes in Canada. POF maybe just more popular up there, especially in the western part of Canada?? Nearly every time I click on a profile of someone I might be attracted to she is inevitably from BC.
Coincidence or not, I dated a Canadian woman for a while...from BC...who moved here after we met (not on pof...lol). She was one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in my life, and it seems that the lifestyle in BC is more health and fitness oriented. Don't want to generalize, but that is both what I've been told, and what has been my experience here.
But, yes, what's the deal? lol, really, all my clicks on the hot ones lead to Canada. Must be the great genetics in Canadians--> after all, my mom is Canadian
